Arunya Thai & Bar Paradise Point — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

We had Dinner here last night with friends. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The meals were very nice but very small portion size. Although they forgot to bring one of our meals out it was actioned very quickly once we bought it to the attention of our waitress. It is BYO at the moment and we hope it is kept that way as many of us locals prefer to bring our own as we dine out more often this way. Unfortunately they have 2 seatings 6pm and 8 pm which I personally don’t like. I like to dine at a time that suits myself and our friends and I don’t like to feel rushed to be out if we choose to eat a little earlier. We would definitely go back if the portion size for a main meal was increased to match the current menu prices then I think it would be...

Came to this restaurant for the first time with my husband, in-laws, and brother-in-law. The food tasted delicious 😋 We ordered a few dishes to try.

The only thing was that it was noisy inside (unsure where there it was the big table in the middle that was making all the noises). Our Pineapple Fried Rice came not as pictured in the menu but as described. The picture demonstrated fried rice inside a pineapple. However, it was just pineapple pieces with the friend rice. After coming back from Thailand and having Fried Rice inside a Pineapple (as it was pictured in Thailand's restaurant menues), we were slightly disappointed. We still enjoyed our meals.

Recommendation: Please update your photo on the menu to reflect the exact dish your customers are getting upon...

Outstanding service you just don’t see anywhere else!!

My partner and I ordered 2 dishes, mine was a seafood laksa which when I got home was a beef laksa, so I called @runya and explained there had been a mistake.

The lady on the phone was so nice and sweet! She offered to deliver the proper order right away which she did! (15min she was at my house with the seafood laksa)

The food is amazinggggggg, Im a bit of a laksa connoisseur (lol) and I can say this is on par with the all time best laksa I’ve ever had which was in Sydney.
