I went to this Restaurant on Monday 13 November with my family and had the Fish of the Day (Perch), the food was just average for us all but it was the only restaurant open at that time.
One hour after returning home I became violently ill with food poisoning of which I was ill for 2 full days. My reaction was to privately email the Restaurant of the situation so they could fix their food practices. It took the Lounge 4 days to respond with "no name" and they expressed they have strong food standards. They offered an apology and a $100 credit of which I declined as I don't intend to return to this restaurant because of the food poisoning an the food was also average and asked therefore only for a refund on my portion of the meal which is obivously a benefit for the restaurant as much less than a $100 credit.
Two days The Lounge responded (agian no name) and they questioned how authentic my complaint was given it had taken 7 days to complain. I reminded them I responded 2 days after poisoning and that it took them 4 days to respond, so they delayed the responses, not me.
My view is never to publicly complain about a restaurant as they are small business but in this case, they have been very rude and are questioning my poisoning. This attitude compelled me to write a review as they really need to build a customer focus to address their standards and behaviours.
BTW, this is the first complaint I have ever made so expresses how irritated I am on...
Read moreWas ok , prices were on the higher side and didnât quite match up for the service or quality of food or drinks. Drinks were cold though and a decent selection , food wasnât that exciting but wasnât bad. You canât see the water and the view of the car park and the road is not really something that is appealing so I donât really understand why attempt to do an elegant and upmarket theme with higher prices for views of the road and cars parking. Wouldnât go out of my way to go back, itâs a shame the way they have built the retail sector at Paradise Point , across from the ocean which you can see as everything is ground level and the road , car park and park block all water views and on weekends the kids screaming form the swings across the road makes it feel more like dressing up to go to a kids party. They need to build roof top bars and restaurants along this strip so people can at least see the water to account for the prices the...
Read moreThe Lounge in Paradise Point is a welcome addition to our local dining scene. It offers a unique culinary experience with an inviting ambiance and great service. With a bit more fine-tuning in the ordering department and perhaps a wider range of options for diners on a tighter budget, it has the potential to become a true culinary gem.
The staff at The Lounge were attentive and friendly. Despite being a grand opening, the service was as prompt and efficient as could be. The waitstaff were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. However, there were a few minor hiccups, such as the occasional delay in refilling water glasses, which I'm confident will improve with time. I look forward to revisiting the Lounge to see how it evolves and refines its offerings over time.
Congratulations on a successful grand opening, and I wish the The Longe team who were awesome all the best in their...
