Well done to the Mamasan team. This ‘pop up’ is everything you’d expect from the original Mamasan in Broadbeach — moody atmosphere, warm and welcoming service, and incredible attention to detail

The vibe is stylish and intimate, with a touch of luxury that still feels so familiar due to same friendly staff and decor from the original venue in Broadbeach.

The Prawn toast is a must — crispy, flavourful, as well as the Burrata dish which was paired with a Chinese donut bread. Also loved the spanner crab ravioli and the deep fried ice cream, everything was perfection. Oysters were 10/10.

Even the bathrooms are stunning — proof that no detail is overlooked.

My friend had driven up from Canberra and was distressed when he found Mamasan was closed. I reassured him that Baby Mama by Mamasan was nearby at Nobby Beach. The Prawn and Scallop Toast was recommended by the staff and was melt-in-the-mouth excellent. The Wagyu Beef Red Curry was exactly as I remember from Mamasan and sooo good. We shared both dishes and had two glasses of Pinot Grigio and Riesling. We took an Uber from/to Broadbeach, as there is difficulty finding parking due to the Light Rail Works. Went to Nobby with the family last weekend and stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant just as we were getting hungry after a walk. Not many places serve food after 3pm, so we were thrilled to find this one open. The space is stylish and welcoming, and the service was incredibly friendly. The oysters were super fresh, the kingfish sashimi was delicate and delicious, and the Sichuan burrata, wow, next level! They also have a great selection of wines.
