I have been going to Hachi Japanese Resturant for over 14 years now and it’s the best Japanese Resturant on the Gold Coast. If you like modern Japanese food with a creative Australian Spin that’s tailored to your Tastes Bud i highly recommend this place. The price is fair for the meal size you get and for me you can’t beat quality produce and exceptional Presentation. Make sure you book in advance because it gets very busy and you don’t want the disappointment of being turned away, there’s nothing like it. My last meal was the winter special, Tonkotsu Ramen Noodle Soup and my friend had the Korean Spicy Ramen both were amazing. You’ll need to go back a few times to try everything on the menu because everything is so good! Hope you enjoy the food as much as I do and I’ll be going for as long as it’s open. You can thank me later for this recommendation enjoy šŸ™šŸ½

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a Japanese and Korean fusion restaurant, but wow — it completely exceeded my expectations. I tried the Japanese Katsu Curry and the Electric SAKURA cocktail, and both were spot on. The curry was generous in portion, with a crispy cutlet and rich, flavorful sauce that worked perfectly together. The cocktail not only tasted great but was also gorgeous to look at — definitely one of those drinks you want to take a photo of before sipping! The vibe was warm and welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. Jess and Ava were so attentive throughout the evening, and Chef Adam’s dishes truly impressed. Great food, creative drinks, and staff who really care — this place is a gem. I’d happily come back again and recommend it to anyone looking for something both delicious and memorable.

The food is so average which is very unexpected for Australian standards they somehow manage to make fries taste bad Not to mention the original prices of Siri that you would expect this food to be good The salmon tacos the shells was stale I asked for mayonnaise to drown out the flavor of the food twice and they forgot I asked for water and they forgot had to remind them The staff were quite nice can’t complain about that but they were so busy that they kept forgetting what we were ordering Someone left the restaurant because they were waiting too long for the food they just walked up and left

Absolutely terrible experience overall… prices on the menu were different than we got charged, then got told different excuses which they never mentioned before or at the moment of the ordering. Food was absolutely terrible… even though we ordered karage chicken which is one of the easiest meals to cook in this world (reason why I ordered it)…

When discussing the problem with the cashier got yelled by the owner even though I tried to make him understand the problem and speaking to him in a normal and under stable way… yet he kept going and yelling ā€œjust pay and get out of hereā€ā€¦.

Cashier (waitress in charge of the table was so anxious and nerviosa around the owner that almost got a panic attack)… totally not fair for her… the girls (waitresses) were awesome though… just a bit embarrassed of the whole situation that she even insisted on calling the owner which reacted the way I mentioned before… never been treated so bad in my life and any other person could’ve punched the owner easily… owner didn’t even wanted to give us a receipt… which we would have taken to a government institution… but decided to avoid farther...
