Broughy's Seafood — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I ordered two barramundi, and one small chips. This cost me well over $50.

The fish was great, but the price was ridiculous.

I just had a browse on their menu, and get this..

It's a FISH AND CHIP shop, that only sells Fish with chips in a meal, with the cheap basa alternative.

They DON'T HAVE ANY COD? I like barra more, but to replace cod with the cheap basa alternative? May as well just tell us you have given up mate. How embarrassing.

And to top it all off, the meal deal is only for basa? There are plenty of fish and chip shops that offer the BARE minimum. Basa is below the bare minimum, it's kind of sad.

Barra tasted great though, keep that up, just offer it in a meal deal and you might sell more food. No one is wanting to spend this much money on fish and chips, they'll just order something better like burgers from an actual...

don't ever order from here I ordered at 7 o'clock to to menu log the lady from menu log when all the way to the restaurant that was still in their cleaning she knocked on the door they wouldn't answer they accepted my order they said it was going to be here at eight o'clock they just didn't listen to her or answer her they didn't care of course menu log gave me a refund they shouldn't accept orders at seven o'clock if they're going to close at 8 o'clock and be strict on that the worst place in the Gold Coast at narang never never order from here pick somewhere else...

Very disappointed with our experience! Got our order wrong for the second time in a row. We called up to resolve the issue & got told we could come back and they'd happily cook the missing items now if we came & picked up, drove all the way there only to then be told they haven't cooked anything & if we wanted another we'd have to pay. We usually always come to this shop but very disappointed with past few visits & wouldn't recommend, also very hard to hear them on the phone & understand in store. better stores 5 mins down the road well worth the...
