Oh dear. What can I say! Have visited a few times with my little King Charles Spaniel and have always sat at the first two tables - the ones almost on the street. My dog was always welcome. Had no idea they had banned dogs completely as at the front entrance there was no sign, only at the point of ordering ( didnāt see as so many people surrounding that area ) and apparently there is one out on the patio side but we were on the outside. After receiving our pizzas we were debating whether to ask for boxes to take them home as about 40 plus huge flies, the sort that you find round your bin, were literally swarming us. It was disgusting and was really putting us off our food. They were the type you have with overflowing bins ect. Then the lady who served us came over and told us we would have to tie the dog out on the street as the manager had just spotted us and dogās apparently had been banned from Christmas after a dog attack. She could possibly have just let us finish quickly but I guess with the flies she was doing us a favour! I think our small well behaved dog was far less of a problem then swarms of bluebottles and we wish the manager dealt with that so quickly and effectively too! We...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing pizza , wine and beer on the water for amazing prices and fresh amazing pizzas. Where else can you sit on the water looking at million dollar luxury boats and pay $5.50 for a Corona and $20 for a giant fresh cooked pizza or $30 for a good bottle of wine. We go every week and have done for years and have never had a bad meal or a warm drink. This became our local when the brewed brewery closed down at paradise point as there are only a few places you can dine on the water at Paradise Point and sadly the restaurant that replaced the brewed brewery is too over priced and food lacking , itās better to spend $12 on a under and go to Georgeās and now the 4 -6 of us go weekly and stay for pizzas and salad and drinks for 3-4 hours on the water and the most we spend is $35 each. There is no table service but the restaurant has its own bathrooms and the view is excellent with every table having a water view and the hundreds at giant fish in the water makes it a very appealing day out . This place has nailed it and is always packed busy but the service is never slow no matter how busy they...
