Grill'd Burgers - Nobby Beach — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

this was one of the most terrible display of customer service I have seen.

my pregnant wife and I went to go sit down in shaded spot to eat. the manager came out and said these were reserved. I didnt care at this point but found it odd that there were no signs reversed. later on while sitting there I have seen that these were reserved for a staff meeting, I thought that the time and place for this was a bit inappropriate and could have been better handled somewhere else, especially the way he was speaking to his staff I dont know anyone that would want to work for him.

2nd point was when my wife went up to order. she started with the drinks order beverages. the manager said were we ordering food also? when my wife reply yes. he rudely said can you start with the food then like she mind reader and knows that what he was after. the manager has no Idea of customer service and the arrogance of this guy I could not believe. all other staff members were very polite but he brought down the vibe so much.

last point the hygiene of this place was terrible with dirty menus/cutlery and pigeon flying around. after leaving I should have called Queensland health and food safety to do an audit on this place.

I can see why these franchise are failing. will never return to...

2nd time in a row we have ordered food for pick up/take away here where the food is wrong or missing. Last time they forgot some of the order which we didn’t notice until we got home. This time I checked before leaving and sure enough the whole kids meal was not in the order bag. Lucky i checked.!

Got home to open our meals to discover one meal was completely wrong. So wrong in fact that we specified through the app certain things due to a serious allergy.

The rest of it, chips etc were stone cold and the other burger was dry like leather. Staff don’t read orders, stand around gossiping and obviously pay no attention to what they are doing.

Been to many other gilled over the years. This one is terrible. Bring in kitchen nightmares to fix this place up or at the very least send the state manager to sort out the mess that...

not a single nice thing to say about this place. time between paying and food coming out was an hour long, have been to busier grill’ds before and never waited this long. watched them make my burgers and then watched them sit on the counter for 10 minutes before being dawdled out by the staff. there was no sense of urgency whatsoever considering they were experiencing a “rush”. by the time they brought our burgers and chips out they were stone cold and not enjoyable at all. would not recommend this grill’d at all, staff management was poor - i saw 3 staff standing doing nothing at multiple times during my hour of waiting, staff were also unpleasant and not apologetic about the situation at all. for the price of the burgers i expect better , would have gone to hungry jacks if i wanted poor...
