I’ve tried many different restaurants with the same cuisines like dumplings, fried rice and fried chicken. But never have I ever been so disappointed with my food. The food itself is definitely edible but so far from being considered great. The frozen dumplings at woolworths is probably better but that’s not the main problem. The main issue I had was the price they are charging was way higher than it should be. We ordered 6 dishes on the day and it cost around 90 dollars which isn’t horrible but it’s the portion. If I remember correctly it was 2 baos for 14 dollars. On the picture it looked great and the actual product we received were like kids sized and looked nothing like it was advertised. Overall the food itself not being tasty can be justified as I know that mistakes can happen, however the quality did not match the price. I think there are defiantly better options out there for people...
Read moreI had no idea this place existed. I don't frequent Southport Park at all, so it's easy to miss this place. I'm fortunate my brother sometimes works there, and he randomly saw that this place was having a 10 year celebration and having half price of all Dumplings. I wasn't going to miss out. What can I say? These are amazing dumplings, a large selection available, plus a plethora of other menu items that I would like to try in the future. I believe the Dumplings are all hand-made. They are super fresh, they have that slightly chewy dough texture, and they are filling. They also burst in your mouth. The juicy goodness will make a mess if you aren't careful. And even though we got 50% off due to their special, the normal prices are worth it, absolute quality 👌 Great friendly service as well. Even though you can order off QR code, they will provide full...
Read moreReally disappointed. I have eaten here 3 times and the first 2 were good. This time it was just really bad. I know it is Schezwan style but when I asked if the Fried Rice was spicy and was assured that it was only a tiny bit - i did not expect the level of spice that I was served. I ordered a side of fried chicken which was so over cooked and rock hard that I wondered if they had accidently served me fried pork balls like you get at bad chinese takeaway shops in sweet and sour pork. To top it off both dishes were tasteless other than the spice. Service was OK but the food was just inexcusable. It is a shame because I previously enjoyed my orders here and I wont be back after todays...
