Frequently shopping at this place for years. But disappointed with this morning's experience after getting home and realising that we were charged for the wrong item (& overcharged).

Especially when witnessing the young cashier double-checking what the item was (Ginger - $14.99/kg). We paid, got home and saw that she actually charged us for Galangal ($19.99/kg) instead.

Honest or clumsy mistakes can happen...we understand. Lesson for us and all shoppers out there - Ask for & Check...

So curious about the award winning Lindt Chocolate ice cream so we went down to the shop and bouy we weren’t disappointed. We also tried 4 other very distinct flavours; Rafaello, Mango, Crème Brûlée, and Tiramisu. None of them could we find a fault. Not so overpowering sweetness especially the Lindt chocolate that was piquant but sophisticated taste to my palate. We want to come back for more even on winter...

The 5 stars is for Merlo Coffee and Delicatessen and bakery. Seafood almost double and fairly average, the butcher is average at best, possibly the worst sausages I've ever tasted, absolutely no taste or anything resembling flavor, full of fat ,threw out 2 kilos of them, way over priced and found about 2 meters of plastic wrap in some fake eye fillet steak, give it a miss , everything...
