Noodle Box Southport — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Too salty, I got the thai basil beef and the flavor was nothing but soy sauce. Very disappointed, I should've just gone with my usual lunch place. I only came to try this because i saw coworkers bringing food from there. Service was fine except the 2nd guy came along and was coughing all over the place. You shouldn't be handling food if you're coughing and hacking away like that. Also he must've just come back from a break or something and he didn't wash his hands or put on gloves. As someone who studied food hygiene in college I was absolutely disgusted and in hindsight should've cancelled my order. But he gave the bowl of raw ingredients to the other guy cooking and the heat of the wok would've killed most germs 🤞. The place looked greasy and dirty too, tables weren't wiped down or anything. Safe to say I'll never go back here. Plenty of other options around, including a delicious Thai place across the road, which is sadly not open for lunch...

I ordered through Uber Eats and when it was delivered the order was wrong. I'd paid extra for special orders not included. I phoned to complain and was told that I'd have to come into the shop to sort it out! Why? If you order through UE and they don't bother checking their orders are correct before they send them out, then surly they should have the common sense to fix the problem through the same channel.

The person I spoke to on the phone was very abrupt with me, like it was my fault for complaining.

The food delivered was as good as any other noodles I've had. The Dim Sims were very tasty. Delivery was quick, but I'd have been happier to wait a few extra minutes for what I ordered. ....... I know, real First...

This place has easy access and exits. The service was great. But the food was definately bad. Pictures in catalogues can fool you I understand, however this order didn't even come close. We ordered honey chicken. Not at all what I expected. Not crispy Not much honey just completely different to the norm. I had a noodle box and barely any veggies probably only 1 tiny broccoli and a couple of slices of carrot and 2 pieces bokchoiy and the chicken in it was horrible I kept chewing on yukky hard bits. Honestly it was all noodles with black bean sauce. I was so hungry I had to eat some of the noodles. Just an absolutely horrible meal. Paid $45 for 2 regs and 1 small honey chicken. Won't be going back there again. Ruined...
