Red Rooster Burleigh Waters — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

the staff are great and the red rooster original chicken chips still the best in Australia!. such good value for lunch deal. The actual restaurant itself needs good clean. The door as you walk hasn't been cleaned in years let alone the outside of the drive up window. Very grubby & worn. As of this date the door slams and has for months. I don't believe the franchise owner or head office would allow that to happen. Slack maintenance. We often go to red rooster down at tweed and is spotless ( i think is head office owned) and newer too. But as far as the food and staff go here at Tree Tops...great service always. You will see the "usual" reply below from them (edited this afterwards) so question...why is it will all the mobile phone and connectivity we have, why do I have to fill a form out to get it actioned?? Just ring the bloody store and get it cleaned and fix the door etc. It's not my job to fill forms out...

Very poor experience. Was NOT called when the order was here to be delivered, so, as we do not live in the main house to hear a knock, they just left with the order and did not notify me by email or any other means. When I called to check on this order as I had been waiting outside for half an hour, I was told they 'don't usually' redeliver orders as it is my fault and the food is 'technically perished'. I'm VERY glad I did not put this order on my card. I was never called, in fact prior to this conversation I called the restaurant to check that it was going to be on time and that is the last call in my phone log since Friday. Absolutely useless, lazy and rude staff. They'll probably deliver the food from 2 hours ago now also...

Spicy Combo (Regular: $12.75, Large: $15.75): A soft drink and chips are included. Thank the staff for meeting my request for no lettuce and onion inside the burger. The spicy sauce is one of the best and complements the chicken relatively well. I had the large one and there are a lot of chips, which taste fresh, delicious and not burnt at all.

Moreover, it’s also very nice and patient of the cashier who wait for me deciding what to eat for several minutes.
