Great service by Tiffany — that’s the very first thing that comes to mind when I think about my recent visit to Zambrero. From the moment I walked in, Tiffany set the tone for an incredible dining experience. Her warm greeting, upbeat energy, and genuine smile immediately made me feel welcome. She didn’t just say hello — she made eye contact, spoke with enthusiasm, and treated me like a valued guest rather than just another customer passing through.
It’s rare to find someone who can make you feel so at ease right away, but Tiffany nailed it. She had that perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism, making the service feel personal without ever crossing into overbearing. From the start, she was ready to guide me through the menu, offer thoughtful recommendations, and make sure I got exactly what I wanted.
I ended up ordering the Beef Burrito Bowl, and Tiffany’s excitement when I told her my choice made me even more eager to try it. She took the time to ask about my spice tolerance, sauce preferences, and whether I wanted to customise my toppings. It’s these little touches that show she genuinely cares about creating the best possible meal for each customer.
When the bowl arrived, I was immediately impressed by the presentation — colourful, fresh, and absolutely mouthwatering. The tender, perfectly seasoned beef was the star of the show. It had a rich, savoury flavour with just enough spice to give it personality without overpowering the other ingredients. Every bite of beef felt juicy and satisfying, with that slow-cooked tenderness you can only get when the kitchen takes pride in their craft.
Beneath the beef was a fluffy bed of rice that had soaked up all the delicious juices. The mix of fresh lettuce, sweet corn, hearty beans, tangy salsa, and creamy guacamole created a perfect balance of textures and flavours. The guacamole, in particular, was a standout — silky, fresh, and bursting with the unmistakable taste of ripe avocado. Every forkful offered something a little different, making it impossible to get bored.
As delicious as the food was, Tiffany’s service continued to shine. She checked in halfway through my meal, not just to ask if everything was “okay,” but to genuinely find out if I was enjoying it. She topped up my drink before I even noticed it was low and made sure the table stayed tidy. Her attention to detail was impressive — she anticipated needs before I had to say a word.
Even though she was serving other customers, Tiffany never seemed rushed or distracted. She managed to give each table her full attention, and you could tell she remembered details about each person’s order. That kind of attentiveness is rare, especially in a fast-casual dining setting.
One thing that stood out was how confidently Tiffany handled everything — from explaining menu items to managing the flow of orders. She made it look effortless, but you could tell it came from skill and experience.
By the time I finished the burrito bowl, I was already thinking about when I could come back. The food at Zambrero is undeniably fresh and full of flavour, but the service from Tiffany turned the meal into a memorable experience. There’s something special about leaving a restaurant feeling not only satisfied but genuinely valued as a customer.
It’s easy to see why people keep coming back to Zambrero. The combination of delicious, well-prepared food and outstanding service makes it a go-to spot. If every dining experience had a Tiffany, eating out would be an entirely different level...
Read moreMy partner and I ordered food from here online to pick up in store, walked in five minutes after it was scheduled to be ready and were completely ignored for a solid few minutes by the two girls behind the counter in the completely empty store. Zero other customers. They were having a good old chat til one of them finally begrudgingly glanced at us and managed a "hi". I informed her we were just there to pickup an online order to which she said nothing, just looked at the other worker. I showed her my phone with the order receipt. She says literally nothing, walks away and spends five minutes going through the many receipts still attached to the receipt printer. she then doesn't say anything and walks to the other side of the counter and starts preparing what I assume is our order that they hadn't even seen til then, leaving us awkwardly standing there. we finally sit down, realising it might take a while, and she then comes over and says "do you know what was on the order? it only printed half of it for some reason". first of all yes I know what I ordered obviously, and it only printed half because you need to replace the receipt roll - something you'd think was common sense, but regardless, she then asked to see my phone to read the order, doesn't write it down or anything, just attempts to remember all of it (with all of our add ons and substitutes) and then tries to physically hold my phone. with her dirty gloved hand. I pulled it away because thats disgusting and a huge breach in food safety, and then she walks away to keep making our food. the other girl working with her offered her help with the order three different times and she declined. two other customers walked in and their food was made by the other girl and was ready before ours. ours, which we had been waiting in store for 20 minutes for at this point, when it was meant to be ready to go when we walked in. after all that, she basically shoved the bags in my hands and said nothing. I check the bag and sure enough she's not included the two blondies we ordered so I just grabbed from the counter because honestly it was going to be more of a hassle if I asked her about them, she'd probably ask to see my phone again or ask me if I'm sure I ordered them. when we got home we discovered she had not given us the correct sauces, put salsas on that we specifically did not want due to allergies, the beef was quite literally not defrosted it was ice cold, as was the wrap for my partners burrito. literally frozen. I am never ever one to complain about customer service because I have worked in it for many years and I completely understand how difficult it can be at times, but I cannot think of a single justification for these two workers. Read moreMy sister and I came in around 7:30pm, we entered the restaurant where there was only 1 customer being served and 1 customer still waiting to be served even though there was 3 3 girls out the front…after about 5 minutes they began to serve the man in front of us who they never once greeted or asked what he wanted just blankly stared at him until he began to say his order, watching the girl make the burrito she was pretty blankly rude and short. After she was done with his order she came back to us but then told us to wait a minute and she will be back, about 3 minutes later another girl followed her out who also than blankly stared at me never asked what I was after or any type of greeting, again just waited for me to say my order, again was completely rude and short when asking what I wanted on the burrito bowl..not to mention never asked if we wanted gauc then when my sister requested gauc she rudely said “well there’s not much left but I’ll get what I can out”….(pretty sure they would have more out the back but seemed like to much of an inconvenience obviously..) she then went out the back got a spoon to scrap it out which there was enough, very sparing on the sauce and topping also.. When going to pay for the order she just pulled up the eftpos machine and mubbled the cost and didn’t say anything else… Not usually one to complain about customer service especially when their younger kids and the possibility they could still be in training..however this was all 3 girls that were extremely rude, blunt and treated everyone in the restaurant like they were an inconvenience. Could just be the few staff that were on but customer service needs...
