Zambrero Burleigh Heads — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Finally a good Mexican offering in burleigh Heads. I’m a big zambreros fan after having worked there for 4 years, but was pretty annoying to be overcharged for guacamole and forgetting jalapeños. Unfortunately, the setup of the store means you can’t see someone making it infront of you, so you have to trust they make your order correctly which wasn’t the case for me unfortunately. My burrito also lacked structural integrity because the rice was soggy and there was next to no lettuce on it.

Will visit again out of convenience to see if the teething issues have rectified but...

Although I had a near perfect experience this evening (7pm on 23/08/25), I write this review for a different reason. It can only be described as unjust, disappointing, and deterring. I witnessed a polite, young worker, slaving away in a restaurant full of patrons. It is clear, that the owners of Zambreros Burleigh heads, do not care for their employees. Despite the harsh pressure, she remained composed and professional. This is not the first time I have experienced this restaurant under staffed. And I expect a change in this...

very disappointed. we have ordered here three times and every time they mess up the order. I ask specifically for no cheese or sour cream and my order was covered in it and I ordered tomato and corn and they gave me none. And the lettuce was off and going brown. I don't usually write bad reviews because i know that people make mistakes and that's okay but when it's happened to all my orders repeatedly three times in a row its very frustrating when I don't get...
