I was charged $47.60 for a takeaway meal consisting of two soft drinks, a small box of chips and two large chicken Yiros, without any extras added. The Yiros were disgusting, more half of the filling was cool dried out potato chips , 2 slices of under ripe tomato, a little shaved salad onion, a splash of yoghurt sauce and some cold dried out tasteless chicken. On a doughy pita bread, which was about the size of a bread and butter plate when flatten out, $17 for a cold chip sandwich. The Yiros wasn’t even served properly. It’s a licences restaurant but this was a take away. What a disgraceful rip off. Tasteless stodgy cold dried out food. Came in a nice bag. The server was polite. The guy with the greasy ponytail , no bandana and NO MASK in the middle of a pandemic serving and preparing food, was the icing on a very unpleasant cake. Pretty sure that’s illegal as well as unsanitary and potentially quite dangerous. The other guy had his mask over his mouth with his nose exposed, all other staff appeared to be abiding by the current Covid health orders Right on lunchtime, not many people seated either inside or out, should’ve been a red flag but I was in a hurry and I expected to get a decent feed. The food was subpar, incredibly expensive and unhygienically prepared. Save your money and find somewhere else to eat where you want have to take out a mortgage on your house for a cold chip sandwich and a soda! Absolutely cannot recommend this place and definitely...

Tonight I had a unpleasant experience at your Burleigh restaurant. We ordered online at 6.20 for our order to be ready at 7pm. We were 5mins early and asked the lady at the counter if it was ready on the off chance, she said no we haven't got to it yet.

Again at 7.05 we asked if it was ready, they said no again and told us to wait outside for our number to be called, and by 7.25 we started to get inpatient and asked again. We saw many people come in, place their order and then collect their order in the time we were waiting. We lined up again to let them know, she checked our order and said they hadn't seen the online order come through so they quickly made it. I was wondering why this wasn't picked up when we first arrived as we told them we we had an online order to pick up. My husband just wanted to get a refund and leave but by the time we were lining up to ask she was bagging up our order and gave it to us.

We specifically ordered online so we didn't have to wait. I believe better processes need to be implemented to prevent this from happening in the future as I'm sure this isn't the first time. Or just don't allow people to order online if the staff aren't bothering to look at the online orders that...

Honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. The fries were cold and tasted stale, the sandwich was falling apart, soggy, and barely edible—completely leaking through the bag. But what shocked me most was how the food was handled. It was just thrown into the waiting area, the paper bag left half open, and the drink was literally lying down on top of the bag, not even upright.

This isn’t just bad service—it’s a clear sign of staff who are either untrained or don’t care.

To the owner—if you actually care about your brand and reputation: Train your staff like they’re part of your brand. Right now, it feels like no one’s accountable. Food presentation matters even in takeaway. It’s part of the experience. Close the damn bag properly. First impressions start with how the order is handed to the customer. Fix your process, not just your staff. Sloppy systems create sloppy service, no matter who’s working.

I run branding and marketing for companies professionally. Small things like this are what damage customer trust and loyalty. If you don’t step in and fix it now, people will start associating your name with carelessness—and that’s...

Very ordinary for $25!! Made by a group kids that would never have had a proper giros in their life gathering from what was served up. The people here need to get to Melbourne and have a giros at Lambs or Stalactites to understand what you are supposed to be serving us. It was a super expensive $20 lamb shoulder giros. There was no lettuce, minimal tzatziki that I couldn’t even taste it and the wrap was horrible and dry and not helped by the overkill of chips in it, in fact the whole thing was very dry and terribly bland, with no freshness about it at all. This is an insult to any Greek giros and just another over priced franchise with no real grasp of what the food they are selling should really taste like.
