Zarraffa's Coffee Currumbin — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

By far the WORST Zarraffas I have ever been too! Every single time I get food from this place they either burn it, forget to add something to it, or it’s stale. I don’t know how they do food so badly but they honest do. Nothing at this place taste like any of the other Zarraffa’s franchises which is super disappointing. They have such a good advantage where they’re located but they are ruining it by their horrible food and poor service. The older lady with the glasses lied to me when I asked if there was smashed avocado on my Benny bagel because last time they forgot to put it on there. She said yes, so then I went to drive away but thought I’d check just in case, and what do you know… NO avocado. Then she said, “oh, I didn’t even check it” ?!? Like what the actual heck lady. Then when I got to work I took my bagel out, and grab it to take a bite and found that the top of the bagel was ROCK hard like it’s been sitting out in the open for days. We often stop at Currumbin Z on our way up the coast, and are usually very satisfied but Sunday 1.15pm 17th July was very disappointing (drivethru). We ordered 3 drinks, the iced tea initially was given to the car in front of us - then luckily handed back. The grande flat white was HALF FULL of froth! And that is no exaggeration, surely they could tell by how light the cup felt, it was HALF EMPTY! A flat white should have NO froth. And no equal sweetener was added, which was ordered. The 3rd drink was an almond latte, this was made on NORMAL milk, not Almond milk. We called the shop soon after to let them know how disappointed we were with our order, and felt they should know, but unfortunately felt the phone call would've gone no where. I felt this warranted a review and hopefully the owner will take note. Might start going to the Tweed store for a while till Currumbin sort...

With Brilliant Service from hard working, kind, polite and friendly staff. How could your day not start off on the right foot. Their always tempting White Chocolate Mocha coffee drink, will make those Monday Mayhem Blues float into the ethers. Easily located on Stewart's Road Currumbin, very accessible parking, only 5 minutes from Currumbin Alley, The Pines and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary you should head on through their very well operated drive-thru, or, perhaps dine in and catch up on your daily news while reading the local paper. You will be spoilt for endless choice. Wide variety of tasty muffins, moorish banana or coconut bread toasted, savoury treat ( Ham & Cheese) Zed Bread and much more.
