Mango Hill Bakery — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Very poor customer service and overall inconsistency. Placed an order with the server. Specified exactly what I wanted- a bacon egg roll with runny eggs. She then became busy with another customer and phone order, despite there being 3 other servers standing around…Another worker continued my order, incorrectly , and overcooked the eggs….I requested it be re-made and continued to wait. 40 seconds later, the worker returned with the same eggs, claiming they were the newly cooked runny eggs. I am not frequenting a business to be gaslit. Especially as a former regular customer, with the same regular order. I will not be returning. Ordered Birthday cake for my wife , picked up this morning , the cake was tasteless , when I called to complain , the lady kept arguing she kept saying we follow 13 years old recipe , common on if someone has called to leave feedback listen , she was arrogant & rude , kept repeating we follow 13 year old recipe , I told her I have worked in bakery myself & have made cakes , I know about them . But she would not listen , would have given 0 star if possible , never 👎🏼 going back to these guys . Came from Bracken ridge to pick it up from mango hill .

Suggestion - Next time handle someone else complaint more humbly & admit you made a mistake in spite of saying your 13 year old recipe...

Was looking forward to a good rated bakery this Saturday morning. No croissants or anything similar, No small pizza's or close to it, no ham & cheese options apart from a 6 pack option you can get at Cole's. Small selection of pies, but they had a hot box which looked great until I spotted a fly buzzing around in there and that killed my appetite. Shop itself was very dark inside and didn't feel like a bakery at all. Maybe I missed something which will make me believe it is really highly recommend on Google maps, gave it 2 star only because customer service...
