Pizza Hut™ Mango Hill — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

made an order of $198 through the mango hill store on the 15/03/2020 at 6:15pm .I got a phone call from the manager to tell me, that policy has changed,which doesn't mention on the website prior to ordering! The policy according to him was any orders over $50 you need to show id! They had already charged me the money at this stage,and I had my son already waiting outside the store! I tried to tell him that obviously you know you're already talking to me, but he wouldn't take that, then he also refused to make my pizzas! He also pretty much threatened to hang up on me, so I asked for my money back straitaway because now I had to go somewhere else to get pizzas, he said he couldn't give it back straitaway because it takes time! So I asked for it in cash and he refused! So in the end he said if I would go in with my Id he would make my pizzas. I asked for his name, he gave me a name and later on said that wasn't his name,it was the owners name. My husband and I went there, when I showed him my license and bank card he still said no, because the name on my bank card was different to the license! Now, iv gotten married and not changed my name on my bank account,which most people do! But clearly, it was me, my picture was there and he just wanted to see the signiture to compare, he was rude and still said no! So I asked to speak to the owner, he gave me a number so I rang it! The owner was rude,wouldn't comprimise! So I asked for my money back and he said I'd get it the next day! Still have not received it! Another thing I mentioned to the guy behind the counter was, they send through a text saying your order is placed and is ready to pick up! When I asked him why you would send this, he said it's an automatic message,not live! So I think thats false information and wrong. I tried to plea with him as he had my Id with photo, and clearly it was me but he was just rude and refused still, and I already had paid for it! I bought 1 Cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza deal. The pizza was delivered after an hour which we didn’t care about as it’s Friday and it can be different than normal days but when the pizza arrived cheese pizza was overly cooked. When I called the mango hill store the manager answer (John that’s what he told me his name was ) I said I’m calling to let you know that the pizza is overly cooked and so dry and hard to eat and started saying oh we have a new oven that cooks the pizza properly this and that and I said to him I just want to talk about the burnt and dry pizza we had been given. I said can you please change the pizza and the manager said feel free to drop the pizza to my store I said your delivery man just literally just left my house he can take it. I had my car in garage to get it fixed that’s why we had to get the pizza delivered. He very rudely said I’m not sending my guy to pick up a pizza, you can drop it off. When I said I can’t drop it off I’ll just get it refund, he said my pizza is not overly cooked, we got a new oven that cooks the pizza properly. Kept on repeating the same thing. When I asked do you think I’m eating the pizza for the first time and he said may be yes.

Very rude staff. Shouldn’t Be working there. We pay the price you want so we want the proper food.

If there was an option for no star, I would’ve given that to this store.
