Today I visited Muffin Break in the Morayfield Shopping Centre. There was a severely disabled woman with her carer ahead of me. The woman had trouble getting her purse out of her bag. Some of the staff were standing behind the coffee machine and I could see them laughing at the woman and how long she was taking. When it was my turn to be served, the staff member (who hadn't been one of the ones laughing at the woman) asked for my order and I stated it. She then confirmed the order and said cappuccino, but I ordered a latte. I politely said that was a latte and she said "So you want two?" She then entered two and I said, "No I was just confirming it was a latte, because you said a cappuccino." She said "Right, whatever" and stared at me. The visible hostility coming from the Team Member was unlike anything I have ever experienced from a customer service person. I hesitated and almost walked away, but instead I paid. When I received my order it was a small, not the ordered medium. After drinking it I was very ill and suspect there was cross contamination between the oat milk and regular milk. Overall, this was a terrible experience and I would not return to any Muffin Break if this is the type of customer service...

He takes my order, no mention of a muffin, I wait, n wait n wait, people after me get there order, they also get asked which muffin they want, I eventually ask about my order, he looks around, he asks the Barista, they point at it on the counter. I guess I was supposed to just guess it was mine and grab it, I said oh, no-one called me, they all said nothing, I then asked, Oh, no free muffin for me? Oh! He mumbled something, hardly any English. He asked which one, I said banana, he said, no! Gluten free! I said huh? No its not, he said yes, I said no, its wholemeal, He said, oh and passed it to me! No apology for getting it wrong, no apology for my coffee just sitting there for 10 mns. What a shamozzle! No thanks!...
   Read moreI was lined up to buy some of the Halloween special muffins on Weds 31st 2023 between 10-11am. I finally got to the counter to be greated by the most rudest staff member. I was TRYING to give her my order and all she was concerned about was rushing. I was TRYING to tell her what I wanted & how many, I got to tell her 1 white choc & macadamia and a butterscotch and all she kept saying was, 'can you JUST tell me what you want so I can put them in the box'. I kindly looked at her, said to her...'your just a bit rude' and I walked off. If you are going to be in a customer service position and serve customers (as the job titles states), then treat them as though your job depends on it, because ultimatley, they will be the ones to either recommend the business you work for and get...
