Oporto (North Lakes) — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

I have nothing nice to say about either the food or service. The second my husband and I walked up to the counter, we ordered the meal for 2, and since it was our first time eating at any Oporto, we asked the guy behind the counter what was on the burgers, he could not tell us so he called over someone else, Not much better, he was absolutely rude, could not speak English or understand us. I asked for no pineapple on my burger and asked if the burger had mayonnaise, I swear he said, no, no mayonnaise on any burgers, like I said, his English was non existent, so when it came to asking if we wanted dipping sauce, we were looking on the menu and it seemed he got annoyed and was trying to rush us and rudely poited and said here, so I asked for mayonnaise because I thought, I could just put it on my burger. We walked away to wait for our food, got the food, and, pineapple on my burger, the buns were crumbling away, if fresh this should not happen, the chicken on both our burgers was cold, definitely wasn't fresh grilled, They didn't give dipping sauce we had asked for, or napkins, my husband went in to ask for the dipping sauce and napkins, the guy that served us looked up at his screen as if we hadn't asked for it. Maybe if staff could speak and understand English, this would make things a lot easier. chicken strip's were burned, not eatable at all. We are never coming back...

Zero star. Stopped by to get a half chicken for my partner to take home. Placed order on the app. Walked about 5mins through Westfield to collect it assuming it would be ready or nearly ready when we got there. Arrived at Oporto 2 staff in back sitting down. 1 waitress up front also just sitting down. Sees me gets up, i show app order on phone. Nothing is cooking no other customers, she looks at the order screen and alerts others in the back of an order needs to be cooked. 2mins later handed me my supposedly fresh cooked half chicken. Very quick but didn't seem like a raw half chicken could be cooked in 2 mins and didn't see any grilling going on. Guessing reheated or was in a hot hold. Anyway. Also requested a carry bag as we had to walk back to the car and a rude man reluctantly slowly grabs a within reach bag and says "they are not free" i replied " oh how much is it?" Thinking 25c like Woolworths or coles. He handed us the bag and said "I don't know". I've had a $2 coin sitting in my wallet for 6 months was quiet happy to hand it over for a simple paper bag. But he went out of his way to make it look like i was taking food out of his children's mouths.

What a disgrace this store is to the oporto brand. The young lady who took my order clearly had an issue comprehending English and I had to constantly repeat myself. When presented with cash The task of delivering change was clearly a challenge. I chose to dine in yet was given a take away bag. I asked for a plate and was given a wet one. A side of sauce and napkins were missing. The burger was awful. The bun was stale, chicken was cold and served with brown lettuce and gross amount of sauce that wasn't even spicy. The chips were cold and clearly cooked well before I ordered. What made it worse was the drink ordered wasn't even cold. The store was dirty and and in disrepair. Cleaning doesn't seem to be a priority. The staff obviously didn't care and looked dishelved in dirty uniforms and poor appearance. As a fan of oporto for over 20 years this was so disappointing. This experience has lost me as a customer for good. My advice would be to sack the manager and retrain the...
