This one star review is before I even take one bite of the food- I called to place a pick up order and as I don’t eat meat I requested to swap out the bacon for an extra piece of sourdough, at no point did they tell me that this was gonna be an extra charge and they didn’t even tell me when I was at the payment machine, knowing damn well bacon costs more than a piece of bread… just saw the notification on my phone saying $19.50 instead of $18- anyway I go to open up the food And they had forgotten the hollandaise and have replaced it with some gross weird relish thing instead. Didn’t even want to walk back inside as I luckily have hollandaise at home. They also doused my eggs in pepper Which it doesn’t say in the menu… I hate pepper & had to wash it off under a tap to get it off the food. but I will not be returning to this place and you shouldn’t try it either. I’d suggest going to Xanders cafe instead, never go wrong
EDIT- Hello, thanks for your reply however it seems you don’t know your own menu… I never added a hash brown as it comes standard in the meal and obviously says hollandaise here no relish so I suggest you re-read your menu and learn your own dishes. I’ve included a screenshot below clearly showing $18 with hollandaise and a hashbrown for your reference… owning up when you’re wrong comes a long way instead of making excuses and making me feel like a stupid customer. Instead of replying to me with a response like that, you should learn to offer compensation for your mistakes as a business… I selected ‘THE BASIC ADD HASHBROWN’ totalling $18, not $19.50, so you clearly charged for the uninformed bread swap. Additionally there is a reason why salt and pepper is offered on a table/at the counter because you don’t put it on the food assuming the customer wants them. it’s an optional extra, otherwise menus at other places state ‘with seasoning’. Maybe you should update your menu if you believe that’s the case. look forward to...

Read moreI write big reviews to give you all the information you need! ( With maybe a bit too much detail 😅) Apart from how busy this place gets, we scored a table! The booth!! Tehehe, But the back wall makes the window way too glary. So we sat sideways 😂 (this made things a bit awkward for the staff, sorry). They continued with such great service & passed everything over the "back" of the now "side" of the booth with impressive flavours in their iced chai & their quality coffee bean used in the latte. It didn't take long at all for the meals. The kale was amazing to be honest! (I stole most of the kale & tried the hash brown!) Not your typical hash brown, this one felt like it was almost mashed in some parts & tiny flakes in others. & That was just in the 3cm corner piece I was given! Still crisp on the outside & perfect amount of bite in the middle. Not completely soft but not having to "bite" through the potato. The summer avocado was way too filling for me! I gave up on the bread! Sourdough should only be served where you can rip it apart or where you're allowed REAL Knives! No other knives are going to work! That's it! We know that's it! So give up the idea, a bread knife will EVER work! So I first gave up the sourdough. Then started passing the bacon over! Who passed on bacon?! It was a big meal though it may not look like it. There were pre-made rolls & sweeter snacks under the counter for more on-the-go orders. There are also lovely plants around! Enjoy...
