We had a very disappointing experience this morning with your barista - Peter ( with no hair & glasses). Previously we were welcomed and encouraged to stay with our beautiful well behaved dogs to have breakfast for the past few months - however this morning we were told not to come back / no incidents - no reason. He said the “Manager” Who are ( Steve & Zokki Bugarski) had said we cannot stay today . So I would like to hear from them as to why we were not able to sit and enjoy breakfast this morning as we have done for the last 6 weeks. Peter’s ( the barista with no hair & glasses) opinion is of little importance and just a tip to the managers ( Steve & Zokki Bugarski) your barista Peter - ( with no hair & glasses) has just lost you a lot of business in our walking club / time for a change perhaps? Sadly in business you just have to have good people in front of house to do any good and this guy isn’t doing your cafe any favours with his smug and vendictive attitude. We went further down to a brilliant cafe, gave us water bowls, greeted our dogs, and beautiful food - now they deserve our Gold Stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 We even had children patting our dogs - wonderful atmosphere. You could learn a lot. EDIT TO REVIEW AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE You have not addressed the issue just general garbage that is irrelevant and if you have to sing your staffs praises and not listen to honest feedback, then I feel sorry for you. Especially in hospitality / you should listen to your customer. As you spoke in general terms I suspect you know nothing of his behaviour to people who have been loyal customers and if there was a problem with our dogs and countless complaints, one would think our attention would have been brought to the problem before now as we have been there at least 6 times and nothing was ever said. Proof of your fabrications today. You had the opportunity to learn something today but you fell way short. We are respectful and polite wherever we go and so are our dogs - no complaints, just Golden love being spread and you should have been a little more grateful - we bring our own water and snacks for them so they are happy and content to rest quietly whilst we tried to enjoy your food, even when the order was wrong. That’s how it has been - no complaints - just happy people that love seeing us and our well behaved Goldie’s. Your loss. You know how it works Steve - I’ll tell 10 people - the other people at our table today. They will tell 10 people - we will share your crappy attitude and unprofessional behaviour to people with dogs with our Dog clubs on the Northside of Brisbane all 10 of them - another 500 people at least - they’ll tell 100 people and on it will go! Before we know it you’ll be a distant memory - it won’t take long. 🌱 Oasis will be a crumby little place in the desert of Redcliffe’s best eats. Just wait till the new shops are built up the road. Good...
Read moreWe have been coming here with our dogs for the past 6 weeks for breakfast and the food has been great. We always go right in the back in Cactus Jacks part so we are not on the way of people and waitstaff, as advised by the barista the first time we went, and all dogs are friendly and well behaved. This morning we sat down and husband went to order and Peter the barista very rudely said the manager said you and your animals are not welcome here, please move on. Understand it is their right to decide no animals but be consistent. No reason given. There were other dogs there. We left and went next door where we were welcomed, staff all came out to pat the dogs, including the chef. They bought bowls and water. That is how a dog friendly Cafe should be. You have just lost a regular $125 every Friday.
EDIT TO REVIEW AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE Firstly, our dogs have never left a mess, and they certainly don't smell. They may have lost some fur, we do not bring a vacuum out with us. We respect other customers by moving to the back and away from everyone If so many customers complained, why did you not say something to us previously on the last 6 times we visited, or at least tell us today that was the reason. We always have your customers come over to us, pat the dogs and say how well behaved they are. You may not allow your staff to pat dogs or handle dog bowls, but all the other cafes we have attended along the street do so and I am sure they wash their hands and sanitise afterwards. This is not about 3 people ganging up or trying to damage your reputation, this is expressing disappointment in lack of communication and courtesy. As I have said, the...
Read moreNestled along a lively street, this small café packs a serious punch – easily one of the best in the area. Despite its modest size, it delivers on all fronts: excellent coffee, delicious treats, and service that makes you feel genuinely welcome.
