Redcliffe RSL, located at Irene Street, Redcliffe, is right across the road from the Anzac Park area & beautiful Moreton Bay. The peninsula bus service runs right past the RSL. There is also a smaller size car park nearby. This car park has a limited number of disabled parking spaces available. There is also a car park across the road from the RSL, but it is mainly used for other purposes with other businesses nearby. A user friendly drop off point is located at the front entrance. This allows anyone with Wheelchair Disabilities to access the RSL with a minimum of fuss. Redcliffe RSL no longer requires people visiting this establishment to use the QR scanning. The staff at the main reception area are very welcoming & ensure everything is done to make you feel welcomed. There are plenty of hand sanitising stations located in the front entrance & also in & around the club. There is a lift in the foyer area of the RSL for wheelchairs. There are escalators & stairs that take you up to the Level one. The restaurant located on Level One of the RSL has an excellent selection of meals available for everyone, including people who have special dietary requirements, I was more than impressed with my meal. Excellent live entertainment is regularly available & the open floor plan on Level 1 makes it easy to get around. There is a gaming area on the same level, as well as toilets that are suitable for people with disabilities. There are excellent views of Moreton Bay & the Redcliffe beach area & surrounding park area. The park area is also used by the RSL to conduct any formal duties such as Anzac Day. All in all, I found the RSL an excellent place to visit & enjoy all the facilities. The RSL has a Sub Branch on site for Veterans, requiring to see any staff member in the sub branch. The Redcliffe RSL has a memorabilia display, which is worth the time when visiting this establishment. It's definitely worth a visit to enjoy a great meal & a refreshing drink with family and friends.

I've been twice in the last couple months. Extremely ample venue, very minimal parking at times, large gaming section and highly staffed venue. Majority of staff were just unfriendly and miserable. Toilets were filthy. I went in there and there was a strong smell of urine and down the wall was some sort of liquid dripping onto the ground I assume to be urine. Portion size of food is quite minimal but value for money is good as the meals are low cost. Food was pretty poor in taste, have had better many times. Membership is cheap, only $5 for five years. Although, be careful when becoming a member though, they blitz you with around ten emails a fortnight with the worst offers on food and live entertainment, it is barbaric. Disappointed about the no hat rule. I do not really get it, does not make any logical sense hat or not to me. Maybe if I was wearing a war helmet they would say different haha.

23 Dec 2023 Should have walked out at the top of the stairs on hearing a very loud very bad singer. No floor staff so asked cashier where my reserved table was but she couldn't hear me. We moved into the heat on the balcony to avoid the noise. No menu so walked to ask for one which they don't use, 15 minutes later we worked out the tag on the table linking our phones to a Web page. We yelled our orders over the noise and food arrived in good time however I bought a glass of wine and 1 serve muscato @ $26+, absolute robbery!! The food arrived, well my roast obviously had veg from the Coles frozen food section, disgusting! All the meat was fine but no salad dressing on any of 4 meals, cafeteria salt sachets and serviette dispenser, a water fountain no bottles! ........... Need I say more?

Yeah after walking out of tonights 10K draw night for September 27th 2025, I feel disgusted and appalled. I’m going to give this place either the flick all together or probably give it a rest for several months into next year. You’ve just lost a 5 dollar ruby player probably a Diamond player being close to 10k of tier points with the amount of thousands of dollars I’ve fed into these machines in the past months.

I’ve been coming to this place for the past couple years trying to win a major or thousand dollar draw and yet have been met with the old RSL age discrimination routine I use to get at other clubs in my 20s.

I don’t know what’s the go, but I’ve yet to see any 20 or 30 year olds win a thousand dollar or major draw at this place. When there is plenty of us gaming on the floor to gain more statistical entries (air quotes) into the digital barrel draws. Something doesn’t feel like on the up and up with the drawing software. Seems like you have to be in your 40s onwards to win a draw here. It’s disappointing. I had 13 thousand entries in for last months August 30th 10k night and yet couldn’t win a thousand dollar draw. I don’t even know if that’s worth a lot in the ball park to trigger the software into coughing up my name, but I’ve lost thousands to prove it. Just watching older people being called out non stop is disgraceful to your younger 20 to 30 year old members playing here. It seems like it’s not how many entries you have, but who you are, going by the membership cards having those age details filled in when you sign up.

Don’t get me started with the weird stuff going on with the calling of the members too. Maybe your staff member who was drawing it over the microphone on the 30th August night shouldn’t be joking around with them saying along the lines of “oh another person sitting here in front for another 1k win, maybe I should be selling this seating position”. This was sickening to hear like the draw was already rigged from the get go of who they’re giving it to. Not only that, when the person was there, no one would come back over the microphone to say that they claimed it. This occurred this month for the 13th September 8K draw and made me walk out with absolute anger, because no one came back on the microphone to say the elderly persons name was there to claim the 8k after they drew the name out.

I was under the impression that a runner up draw was going ahead until 2 hours later that I had to ask someone at the front desk when the runner up draw was and was bluntly told that the person was there to claim the 8k and there is none. After I had pumped thousands through the machines waiting around. Put someone competent in charge of the draws. Not everyone can see playing on the gaming floor if the person has claimed it. Guessing someone has already complained judging by tonights draws which were called properly by 2 different microphones and actually told everyone if they were here to claim each 1k prize and final 5k prize. Use this person in future.

It’s so obvious what you guys have in place for draw nights, the machines seem to go into this kind of flaky personality that just takes and doesn’t pay or I’m playing against other players for the dispersement of funds onto the floor. Even an elderly lady who I regularly see came up to me saying how shocking the machines were tonight being draw night.

Also like to note that when I do walk out of this place over the years with a couple hundred up my sleeve, the very next day I get a txt message offering 10 or so dollars of points if I swiped in that day. Yet when I’ve been walking out down thousands, not a peep the next day. So obvious what’s occurring, it’s off putting.

The meal vouchers rule brought in is another thing. I use to give family and relatives these because I couldn’t use them all. Absolutely appalling. I was chatting to an old lady one night next to me and this came up in a conversation. She’s an exe old military vet and even she was peeved off that she couldn’t give them out to her old vet...

Unfortunately not a pleasant evening tonight at the Redcliffe RSL. My husband and I attended tonight hoping to have a nice evening. We walked in and ordered which we had no issue with the server behind the counter was polite she even kept apologising because it was so loud none of us could hear what was being said. After we ordered we did a lap of the venue to discover no tables were available. We stood off to the side along with other patrons waiting for others to leave. We decided to have a walk around again to see if a table was free to which there wasn’t, no issue was happy to wait. I asked one of the staff after about 15mins what happens if no one leaves where do we all eat. She asked her manager to which the reply was “we can’t really do anything unfortunately”. Anyway our food came out and the staff member walked up to us to give us the food however we still had no table. We asked her what to do to which she suggested we sit at a table that already had a family at it and simply move some chairs, to which we declined as it was there table they were sitting, eating at. I told the staff member we would sit at one of the reserved tables and move to another once one became available, she put the food down and walked away us thinking no issue. Not even 2 mins later one of the floor staff came up to us and told us we couldn’t sit there. To which we asked where we could sit only again to be told not their problem and that it was Friday night. When I then asked to speak to the manager as my husband and I didn’t plan on sitting on the floor, the wait staffer stormed off. The manager came over immediately in a huff stating loudly we had to move table and that we shouldn’t swear at the staff member who told us to move. I told her no such thing happened even the table next to us tried to jump in and confirm our story but the duty manager didn’t want to hear it and shut them down quickly. I then stated that we also hadn’t received all the food we ordered, which only made her more aggressive. At this point she was yelling at us with no solutions and just accusing us of things that hadn’t happened. My husband and I looked at one another and decided we would leave as no solution was offered and didn’t feel like being abused by the manager. I asked for a refund which she refused and when I objected and said she hasn’t even given us what we ordered that she either needs to provide the service or a refund. She stated I was wrong and that I had no idea what I was talking about. I stated unless she provides the food we ordered she can’t just charge us as it’s then a scam. She became infuriated and continued yelling, my husband stood up at this point and told her we would be leaving and that we will require a refund. She stormed off mumbling we could have a refund. She then printed me off an itemised receipt at my request as she kept yelling at me earlier that the items we hadn’t been given weren’t on it. My husband and I looked at the receipt and found they were listed as we stated to her.

I then called the venue once we returned home hoping to speak to someone higher to report the behaviour. The reception area tried to transfer me to the duty manager I stated no and asked if someone higher was onsite to speak with and would have to call back Monday as that is when someone will be in. We will call Monday and report as it was a horrible experience and shouldn’t have happened.

We have read some of the other reviews and seems to be a regular occurrence by this duty manager to treat patrons this way. It especially hurt that this venue treated its customers this way as my husband is a veteran himself and we enjoy looking at the displays downstairs and we know a lot of the people who attend and they are...

We have been to this place many times. But after last night we are never going back again. We went to the galippoli grill with our family and ordered our meals. When it arrived the waitress had her thumb stuck in my wife her meal. Her meal was burned, and cold. My chips was cold. We returned both the meals and they said a new meal will be out straight away. After 20 minutes we were still waiting while our 2 kids were done with their meal. We asked where our meals were and they said its coming straight away. But it didn't so we had enough and said don't bother just refund us the money. We were so frustrated and not hungry anymore. The manager ( Named Ren) gave us a refund and we left. We thought we still have to eat and decided to go to The Point under the rsl. We ordered our meals mine was great. My wife ordered a rib fillet medium rare. Not sure if they understand what medium rare is maybe they think half the fillet a bit cooked and the other half still rare because that's what it was. We showed the waiters and of course they called the manager which was the same as the one at rsl. When we walked in to The Point we told the waitress about what happened upstairs. So when we showed her the rib fillet and said we don't want to pay full price for this she called the manager and he said I can't refund because I already refunded your food upstairs. And he said their was nothing wrong with that food upstairs . I said I don't want to pay full price for a fillet that's half cooked I offered him to pay half price. But that wasn't possible because we already has a refund upstairs. He thought we were trying to get free meals out of them but all we wanted is cooked food as we can't afford to go out a lot as we have 5 kids but last night we only had 2 so we thought it would be nice to spoil ourselves. I got so angry at this manager I threw my membership card at him and told him I never come back here. Also handed him my wife's card. He was so arrogant and we had the feeling that he didn't believe us at all, like we were trying to rip them off. Thanks for destroying our night it was the worst night ever at the rsl and The Point. If I could give zero...
