This establishment failed to meet basic standards of quality and service, making it our first and last visit. Upon arrival, we encountered arrogant and dismissive staff. We were seated at an unfavorable table where both staff and other guests repeatedly bumped against our chairs. The water bottle provided was visibly dirty, and the food served was substandard:

The calamari, described as "shallow fried," was cold, rubbery, and devoid of flavor.

The bruschetta featured soggy bread with tasteless tomatoes.

The lamb pizza was poorly prepared, with excessively large tomato chunks (not disclosed as a topping), unidentified meat, an overwhelming amount of cheese, and a hard, unpleasant texture and taste.

Moreover, the staff exhibited a lack of professionalism, prioritizing gossiping at the bar over attending to guests.

As an Italian, I was further dismayed to see dishes like Spaghetti Carbonara misrepresented on the menu with cream and mushrooms, contrary to authentic Italian cuisine.

This establishment’s attitude, seemingly believing itself to be of high caliber while delivering subpar service and food, is appalling. We will not return.

When we were ready to leave, we addressed our concerns with the dismissive staff member at the entrance, outlining the numerous unpleasant experiences we had endured. Interestingly, her attitude shifted, and she ultimately waived the bill, which was the only appropriate action given the circumstances.

The quality of the food was abysmal, with three different dishes served, each worse than the last. As patrons accustomed to high standards of food and service, we had reasonable expectations for this establishment. Unfortunately, it failed on all fronts—a massive...

What can I/we say about this outstanding venue, eatery, restaurant, my wife, myself and Dad who is 94 and has Dementia, we have a table booked every Friday at 11:30AM a window seat over looking the boat harbour, a million dollar view for sure!

The staff are so wonderful with Dad they all know him by name Bob and know what he likes to order Fish and Chips, we book his table each Friday for the following Friday, the staff are so courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, they are genuinely kind towards ourselves and Dad!

Now the most important thing is the food, again what can we say, it is outstanding restaurant food at very reasonable prices, the lunch time menu is generous and very reasonably priced at $20 per dish with reasonably prices extras and you will have plenty left over to take home as we do!

The A LA Carte Menu is extensive and reasonably priced, all the portions across the Menu’s are very generous, something for everyone, if you feel like being romantic take your loved one for an early dinner and watch the sunset and enjoy the wonderful food on offer, you will not be disappointed I/ we assure you!

Just our experiences at this outstanding venue, give it a go you will be impressed for sure and more, it has to be one of the best kept secrets in Perth enjoy and experience all it has to offer! Oops now I have stuffed it up for all us regulars, feel free to pop in anytime!

Just a couple of things. Firstly – I ate too much last night and couldn’t sleep. Thanks Nic. Damn your food for being so nice. I have always visited your establishment with the best intentions in mind wanting to savour everything on the menu eventually working my way through all of the Chiefs’ delectable offerings. Unfortunately; it just does not happen, I never get past those wonderful crispy polenta chips and that tender aged steak that melts in your mouth. I am just so damn weak. I see it on the menu and just can’t pass it up. Presently I have to be satisfied with the savoury descriptions and feed-back given to me by my wife who has now managed to partake of most things on your delicious menu (Funny how she always manages to whip a taste or two from my favourite). Secondly, it was of course, ‘Mother’s Day’ on Sunday and I sincerely thank you (Nic) and all your wonderful staff for fitting the two of us in at such short notice. I called four hours prior on the day to make a booking and you managed to squeeze me in thus saving me from sleeping outside with the dog in her kennel. It’s those things that make the difference and elevate your business to a new level especially when you were fully booked and run off your feet.
