My Family has been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a long time and have always loved their food, but after tonight's experience, I'm not sure I can continue to order from here. We placed a $150 online order for delivery, and when the food arrived, we began serving it. Only after opening the containers and tasting the dishes did we realise it wasn't our order. When we called the restaurant, they informed us that the driver had mistakenly delivered the wrong bag and was on his way back with the correct one. I appreciated their prompt response—so far, so good! However, when the driver returned with our actual order, he asked for the incorrect food back. This made me uncomfortable because we had already opened and handled everything, not knowing it wasn't ours. Once the driver left and we finally served our correct order, we found that the food didn't taste right. The battered items were soggy, the rice had a burnt taste, and overall, the quality was disappointing. It also made me uneasy to think that our food might have been delivered to someone else first, handled by them, and then returned to us. This experience has left me feeling very uneasy about ordering from this restaurant again. I'm not sure I can trust that what I'm receiving is fresh and uncontaminated, and that's a real shame after years of...

Giving this restaurant five stars because of the unique taste and service you get here they Have a very nice meals at Chinatown. Staff were very welcoming on arrival. Already had a table for four reserved quick service to ask for the entrees. They also serve alcohol here which was a bonus. Got the black bean and beef with noodle that was 10 out of 10 one got the Sweet and sour pork one, got the Mongolian beef and the other got combination, fried rice. And the taste is like no other Chinese I’ve tasted in the area. This Chinese place is very excellent. You always get what you ordered and also the lunch specials are cheap and for feeling give him a try normally and get a park out the front, but well worth your time, stopping in and getting a feed from Chinatown Moonah One of my favourites in all of Hobart will be back with a heartbeat. Located in a very essential spot in Moonah. We love Chinatown and will...

Hadn't had any takeaway Chinese food for a long time so decided to try this place.

Was met with a friendly staff member when I gave my order. I went for the good ol' faithful special fried rice and some black bean beef. The total came to $33 which seemed a bit more but just assumed that since it had been awhile thst prices had obviously gone up. It turned out to be excellent value and delicious. The picture of the plate of food I added was roughly half of the rice and 65% of the beef black been. The rest I was able to turn into lunch the next day at work. So in reality I got two meals for $15 each....so really good value indeed.

I spotted that they have a buffet deal for $35 which I think I'm definitely going to have to try as I'm sure the amount of food you'll get...

New to Hobart and experiencing new restaurants. Decided to have Uber eats for a Friday night dinner. Took well in excess of an hour thirty to arrive despite saying it would be 20-30 mins and when it did it was less than desirable. Sadly, the sweet and sour pork was just battered pork in a bag no sweet and sour sauce provided so it had gone soggy and had an old oil taste which was unpleasant, wontons were vegetarian money bags also soggy, nasi goreng was flavourless fried rice but the saving grace was the vegetables. The order also went through two different Uber drivers so when it finally got us it was cold and required heating. Not a good start to trying Uber eats unfortunately and a waste of time and money.

Been here many times and we always feel full and satisfied after every meal, friendly service, great food and good value meals! Always a pleasure dining here! Sometimes though, it can be busy and the order takes more than 30-45 minutes but still worth it. Maybe it is a good idea to call ahead and order, if you want to dine in especially on a weekend for lunch or dinner. But Evelyn, the wife of the chef and owner is always bubbly and gives us free pot of Chinese tea when she's there! Thanks dear!
