Tang Dynasty Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Hobart

I would have give 0 star if I could. I ordered pick up at 5.30pm, received notification saying Tang dynasty has accepted my order and started cooking. Went there 5.25pm found out that the restaurant is CLOSED. Stood there for 30 minutes while reaching out to DoorDash help. No help from Door Dash they just cancel my order and refund my money in couple of days. Spend an hour ordering and travelling there to get a refund. Are you joking DoorDash? If the restaurant is closed please do not accept any orders! When I check on Google it still says this restaurant is open. 100% Merchant fault but door dash can do better for their customer seriously. I tried to call the merchant 7-8 times but couldn’t reach yet they didn’t mentioned they were closed. Will not order from this...

Haven't eaten here for more than a year after the quality of the take away plummeted with a change of management. However... went for an early dinner last week and the prawn and cashew stir fry turned me around. Heaps of crunchy, fresh veggies and lovely roasted cashews. Plus the sauce was full of flavour. The serving was generous and beautifully presented. Definitely a vast improvement on my last meal from here. I haven't tried ordering take away again just yet (I'm not ready to be disappointed after such a nice meal.) Only downside was that the side plates had bits stuck on from the dishwasher which we needed...

Best Wonton Noodle soup I have ever had, and my mums first husband was Chinese and I could use chopsticks before a knife and fork, so I have eaten a lot!

The food was amazing, staff where attentive and not at all over bearing. I ate alone (they promptly removed excess table settings which I found thoughtful) my meal was $69 for three courses and a glass of wine. I also had the steamed combination dumplings and the peeking duck.
