We were looking for a place to have a quick drink before our meal at Provenance when we stumbled across this cute little wine bar. We sat at the bar and had a quick tasting. The lady that ran us through the tasting was lovely and the wines were fantastic. We ended up getting a small single cheese plate that was incredibly generous and delicious. Any place that has the Will Stud triple cream on the menu is a winner. 😁 We ended up leaving with a bottle of the Quasimodo which is a fantastic drop.

Had a great tasting experience and purchased a glass of wine and relaxed in the outdoor courtyard. Highly recommend the Onyx, one to rival any Durif which was taken home Loved the quality of the tasting menu's, the effort that went into providing info on all the wines and being able to mark (draw) what we thought of the wines as we progressed through the tasting. We visited Eldorado Road on recommendation by Gail at the information centre in Beechworth. This was by far one of the greatest recommendations we’ve ever received, coupled with Alecia (sorry if I spelled that wrong) being an actual legend of a host. Cannot speak highly enough of El Dorado Road. Claire, Lenny & Paul went above and beyond to accommodate our group on Saturday. We were served 7 wines for the complimentary tasting. The wines are delicious, our particular favourites being the fiano, durif & Beechworth shiraz. We also loved the platters of cheeses, meats and bread served beautifully.
