Typically my gastrointestinal fortitude can withstand most food-borne assaults; it would make a goat’s constitution look less cast iron and more like dainty threads of gossamer intestine.
My experience at Three Grains was typical for that of the traditional Thursday night food court leftover stalls. On this particular night, it was the golden spring rolls and thick amber nuggets of honey chicken, glistening magnificently as though carved from the hive of the Chinese-Australian cuisine. They didn’t merely whet my appetite; they insisted upon it.
Alas, for the all the honey and the buzz, there were no bees. The bumbling was all me, and it was about to sting.
Within hours, I feel my stomach churning and cramping, like a malfunctioning washing machine set to turbo spin and warp wring. I sent heartfelt apologies to a friend for reneging on brief social exchange to which I had committed a portion of my evening.
Worse yet, I fear I will have to alert my beloved Pilates class that I am far too queasy and digestively volatile to attempt the fine, limbering, strengthening exercises of balance and spring.
I never walked into the court expecting to dine like a queen; but this mild food poisoning would subdue and sombre even happiest of the go lucky court jesters.
Two stars. Fit for purpose? Perhaps; one star granted there. Fit for consumption? I’d advise against it; you may need to wish upon that...
Read moreI share what happened to me. I ordered Tom Yum Soup but I got Wantang Soup.
Obviously, what I wanted was Tom Yum Soup, but the young staff and I had a miscommunication and did not receive the food I wanted.
This is common in restaurants, so I tried to be generous, but the attitude of the restaurant was nightmare. They insisted that I ordered the food that I didn't even order and blamed me. To be clear, it was different from what I ordered. Our voices rose, but the restaurant never apologized and blamed only me.
They sent me to get the food I wanted, using the word "whatever." It is more common than I thought that the food I ordered doesn't come out well. But I've never had such a terrible response.
The food that came out late was also not good. There will be no reason for me to go back to this restaurant that bothers customers without checking their orders properly, never acknowledging...

I buy two 5.5 deals which totals to 11 dollars I pay with 20 dollars they give me 4.50 I put my stuff down and go back saying they paid it wrong and the person says she hasn't seen me before and didn't me my money back I argued and argued but she just said she doesn't remember me even though it was a minute ago. She says she will check camera and pay back and that I should leave my number I still haven't got the call or my money back. Very bad service and don't know how to run the business. They say I was aggressive when they themselves...
