Tonight (30/5) myself, my partner and two children dined in at Orion. We ordered meals over two separate orders. The first was a teeny-weeny pack with a slider and the second order was a nosh box, mini chip butty slider with BBQ sauce and chips and finally a spicy crumb Parma and chips. The teeny-weeny came out first for my often very fussy 3yo son. When it arrived we received a wrap. Not a big deal after a little fuss from our son, we convinced him to eat it. When the second order arrived my partner took a bite of her chip butty slider and realised it had gravy, not BBQ sauce we ordered. I politely went to the counter and asked the girl to exchange it for the correct slider we ordered. Not a problem, she took it back to the kitchen and a minute or two later returned with a fresh slider. She opened the new slider to check it was correct and this time NO CHICKEN IN THE SLIDER. did the kitchen run out of chicken? Not wanting to make a fuss again she reluctantly ate it as it was. As I finished my chips and got to my parma, I quickly realised I had been given a plain crumb Parma after ordering spicy crumb. I find the plain crumb to be extremely bland and dull and quite unendurable. At this point I was over the mistakes from this kitchen. We finished what we were given and left feeling extremely disappointed and ripped off for wasting money at this place in a time when i cant afford to waste money. Honestly not sure how hard it is for either the girl at the counter to take my order right or the kitchen to prepare a meal as per the order. 1/5 stars for this experience only because the girl at the counter was very polite. Hopefully I didn't waste my time writing this review as well as wasting my money, but something tells me I did. Thank goodness they got the nosh box...
Read moreThank you so much for an awesome first experience at Schnitz! I am coeliac and it can be hard finding food that I will like and enjoy when dining out! I had corn crunch crumbed chicken on "the Swiss" wrap in a meal. My partner went up to order and accidentally ordered mine as a burger which I cannot eat and it wasn't until 15 minutes later while we were at the table i mentioned i was excited to try my wrap and he then realised he had ordered the burger bun. When I explained what had happened to the lady at the counter she was so lovely and understanding and she said not to worry about it they will remake it for me and no extra charge. She then come out and informed me that the regular chips ordered with my meal aren't gluten free but the sweet potatoe fries were so she also got me them instead of regular fries and again at no extra charge. We felt so bad because we are pretty sure our meals were just about to come out. The staff were awesome and super understandable and I was happy they were also knowledgeable with there products and what is and isn't gluten free. Not only was this a great experience but OMGG!!!! we both loved our meals! And the gluten free wrap was the best I have ever had. So good that I chowed it down so quickly without taking a photo. Thanks so...
Read moreThis was my first time going to schnitzel, I always thought it wasn’t gonna be good but surprisingly it was really delicious. The burger was huge way bigger than any burger place I’ve ever been to including Grilld, nandos and coffee club. The burger was so juicy delicious and crispy the schnitzel was crunch and warm, it was so good to bite the more I ate the more I loved it. The taste was unique but amazing and the best Thing was it was so CHEAP it was $14 and that was so shocking a big burger for that price. This place needs more hype Bec it’s so good. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the chips but maybe next time I come. The salad was okay really big and def for the price The Caesar salad was delicious. And the worker was so kind and the atmosphere felt good though it was very busy when we can luckily we were able to get a booth seat. The scenery was so pretty and amazing .If you’re looking for a cheap place to eat burgers/wraps/ salads or have kids this is the place to go. 100/10 Def...
