Granted we are experiencing a tremendous weather event at the time of writing, but my drive through experience was fairly bad. After waiting in line for 20 minutes I finally get to the speaker, and notice the "please check HDMI" message on the screen. I wait 5 minutes (literally) for communication from the operator that things are working and they will be with me shortly. Nothing....My kids are getting concerned with the pool of water behind us, and asking why it's taking so long, I say "the speaker must be broken as the screen is also having issues" (lots of rain remember) so we proceed to drive up to the pay here window assuming we will be met with an apology for service breakdown, and how can we assist. However, upon arrival at said window, I am asked if I ordered the Lattés? I said "no, the speaker seemed to be not working so I continued to here to place my order" (and explained the scenario). The operator stared daggers at me for a few seconds, then asked what I wanted. Upon placing my order (10:35 am after arriving at 10:10am) I was advised that no hash browns were available and would be substituted with small fries. I ordered and paid for 10 hash browns and received 3 small chips. In addition to my mighty mcmuffin (devoid of hash brown) 3 hotcakes and 2 bacon and egg mcmuffins (one was a bacon and egg mcmuffin, the other had a cheeseburger bun) in small meals (no chips or hash browns). After making payment, I sat at the window a while while the operator took further orders for my receipt (requested) to which my end result was a glance, the closing of the window, and the disappearance of said operator. It took another 15 minutes for (most of) our order to be ready (after deciding I needed to move forward), with apologies from the second window operator for the delay. Look, obviously this is not the usual modus here, but when things are stressed or out of the ordinary shouldn't the staff be ready to adapt to something like this? I made a mistake as usually I get a response instantly from the word box advising me I'll be...
Read moreWent thru drive though with my partner tonight and after pulling up to the first window and having a distracted teenager still finish her convosation on her mic, we paid for our order and move on to the next window where they clearly werent giving too much of a care towards their job and roles considering they dropped a large sundae down the side of our car while someone was off remaking that one we tried to inform the young girl who originally served us that she had messed up the order and not put m&ms aswell as cookies in the other sundae at which point she clearly wasnt even paying complete attention to us as she just replied yeah shes making it in regards to the sundae that was just dropped on the side of our car after she finally brought that one back to us we told her again that she messed up the order on the other one at this point she began to fight my partner repeating over and over again "NO YOU DIDNT" my partner tried to explain that he did actually order one with cookies and m&ms and one with m&ms after her very rudely saying "NO YOU DIDNT" over and over again, talking louder to talk ver the top of my partner she said "look I will do it this once...BUT YOU DIDNT ASK FOR IT" in the rudest tone ever. Most disgusting customer service I have ever received, being a manager in retail myself if it was my staff member they'd be 100% receiving a warning if not losing their job. For an employee whose main focus should be customer service she was absolutley appauling. No wonder the new McDonald's in Augustine heights is so popular, they have good customer service. I wont be returning to your store and I will be making sure to recommend the new McDonald's to everyone from now on. Very dissapointing and embarrassing...
Read moreTonight we went through and ordered 2 iced chocolates, a burger and a mcflurry. For starters the burger was missing the pickles which I specifically asked to be added (common occurrence, almost never get them anymore) my partners mcflurry was half empty. Not to mention we didn't even go there to order iced chocolates, but of course the frappe machine wasnt working (also a common occurrence) so we decided to get iced chocolates instead. After a few sips of my iced chocolate I felt something hard go into my mouth, thinking it was a chunk of chocolate I bit into it. Realizing it felt weird I took it out of my mouth and found out it was a fly. This was extremely distressing for me and ended up with me gagging over the toilet and feeling sick, panicked and disgusted. This is not the only bad experience I have had with the Mcdonalds, however I am not the type of person to complain or leave bad reviews but this has been my tipping point. Our orders are always incorrect or missing something. The service is horrible , we are never greeted or acknowledged at the drive thru windows and just get the food shoved in our faces and our farewell is just a turned back and a slammed window. This leaves me the customer feeling like I'm nothing but a burden on them. Now I have eaten a fly because of them, I am extremely angry, sick to my stomach and will not...
