Dudley's Cafe — Restaurant in Jindabyne

This is an honest review after our experience over the weekend. A family getaway and lunch we decided dudley's cafe with positive reviews. Half the food was served and the other half was never recorded. The lady staff disrespectfully blamed us for not telling her. We advised her countless times upon repeating the order and she was unable to comprehend claiming there were other people waiting and blaming us. To my understanding if the wait staff have a ticket they must complete the current ticket prior to the next order. When the food came out it wasn't to a medium or high standard. Most importantly she did not honor her mistake and arrogantly turned us away. We were starving and in total waited 1.2 hours until the last meal came out.

Another male staff was very caring, coming to our table to ask if we were happy and when we told him the situation he was able to quickly rectify the order and have it sent to us...

I am genuinely appalled with how customers are being treated by one lady in particular! I am not here to name and shame but I'm sure she knows who she is. I choose to wear a face mask in public to protect myself and my baby from covid. The moment I walked into the cafe, I was asked why I was wearing a mask. We are in a pandemic. It may not be a mandate at this time however this is the personal choice I am making and shouldn't be anyone else's business. The reason why I am posting on here about this is because the same thing has now happened to my siblings by the same worker as they choose to wear their mask for the same reason as I. We shouldn't be judged for wearing a mask....

Everything is out a packet here, from the primo ham to the wonder white bread rolls. My eggs Benny was closer to a soup consistency, I understand covid times make staffing issues difficult, (also the excuse is starting to wear thin after 2 and half years) but make your prices match what you are serving, I would've paid $11 for this meal cost to value wise not $21.

Did not finish my coffee, one the worst coffees I've ever had.

I won't ever eat here again unless something we're to dramatically change. And I wouldn't take half the reviews here as gospel, either they're being nice or haven't had decent...
