When we walked in, the place stunk! Almost left because of it. We assume it was some kind of cheese, or maybe a patron... but my partner actually couldn't tolerate sitting inside it was so bad. Sat outside and they turned on the heat and offered us blankets which was really nice! By the time we left the smell was gone from inside. The Asian waitress here is lovely, a really really good waitress- polite, helpful, nice, and quick. Some of the best service I've experienced in a long time! The food was also good! We were shocked there wasn't any pasta for being an Italian place but the eggplant parm was delicious! We wished it came with pasta as they normally do but we really enjoyed it anyway. The pizza was also good.... it didn't look very appetising as it looked dry and bland, but looks were deceiving and it was really good and not dry at all. The crust was delicious. Maybe the best pizza crust we've ever had. The focaccia bread is also delicious and we really enjoyed our very first fresh olives. The tiramisu glass was disappointing because its served only half full... would probably look better to serve it in a smaller glass so it doesnt look like youre giving your guest a half portion... or just fill the glass because it was expensive for such a small amount. Delicious though! We could eat a tray of them (partly because of being tasty, partly because its tiny). All in all, a nice place and we...
Read moreOrdered takeaway on a not so busy Tuesday night. 40min wait, which is expected with a fair few tables dining in and other takeaway customers. The pizza on the other hand only took one bite to get to crust. I ate more dough than I did pizza. Very dissapointing to pay this price for so little toppings. Make pizzas properly please, I know we won’t be back.
La Famiglia reply: Not so busy Tuesday? 140 pizzas were made Not enough toppings? You sound like a bogan, with a voice to match. Like that voice that sounds like you’ve smoked two packs of horizons a day. Your mouth is that big , thats why you could fit a while piece of pizza in it. What I thought I overheard you saying to a customer who came to order take away while you waited was “its worth the wait”, however, i was told you said its not worth the wait. When you hadn’t even received your pizza. You are disgusting, if i had known I would have refunded your money and kicked you out. Absolute trash I don’t allow in my restaurant. You have no idea what pizza napoletana is
Edit to your response: I’m 16 years old girl, I don’t smoke, and I did not order a Napoletana, my local pizza shops sells around 400 pizzas a night, of which their very worst is far better than your best. From a business perspective, you are doomed to fail, keep making pizzas champion , and maybe treat your customers with a little more...

The service Val and his team gave was just soo inviting and top notch! Coupled with a variety of Woodfire Pizzas and Gnocchi that had the classic tastes with a few twists that were just done right! Nothing beats a homey woodfire pizza in Cold Jindy. Id recommend you ask for their recommendations of their top pizza’s here because each one they recommended gave such a mouthful of flavours so exciting to your palette its addictive! (My fav Probably the Pumpkin base one, the prosciutto or if you like hot the spicy salami one!)
The drinks made by Sebastian were one of the best we’ve ever tried in a long time. The flavour profile of the Negroni’s, Amaretto Sours and Lemoncello drinks, felt much more refined and balanced compared to ones we get back in Sydney. (Not to mention they give ya a bit of a kick if you’re not careful!)
Special thanks to you Val, for treating us like your own family. You went above and beyond to fit us in somehow even when you were booked out on most nights! (Sorry for added stress)
(Highly recommended to share dishes)
We hope You remember us when we come...
