Mountain Munchies — Restaurant in Jindabyne

Cannot rate this place badly enough. The lady that took our order was so disinterested in serving us she was staring out into the distance when we arrived. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with just the patty and bacon, a cheese burger with the lot and tomato sauce and two milkshakes. She was obviously not paying any attention as we received one bacon cheeseburger covered in tomato sauce, no second cheeseburger and 2 milkshakes. When I brought this up the response was ‘well I didn’t take the order but I can put one through now’. So paid for the second burger and had to wait again for it to be cooked. Whole place was completely unprofessional....

Wow. Finally a burger or even a restaurant in Jindabyne that is good value. 3 burgers, onion rings and family chips for $60. Burgers were amazing! Only downside was we asked for 2 with no cheese and 1 came with cheese. Onion rings were a good sized serve and the chips... The chips! Too often you order a chips from a shop and its barely filled the box. This one was overflowing the box! Talk about value! Especially as they were well seasoned with salt and cooked nice and crispy. Definitely recommend eating...

Lots of options at this cheap eat, off mountain.

Staff are usually very friendly despite always being busy. No inner seating, this is a grab and go place. However, there is seating in the outer courtyard within the centre of nuggets crossing, which is outside but not directly connected to any of the surrounding stores.

Food is classic burgers and fries joint. Lots of burger variations available, including kids and vegetarian options. Nuggets, onion rings etc.

Good hangover...
