Had a quite unpleasant interaction with the person serving counter. It began with a misstep on my behalf, which I apologised many times for. The person felt me feeling as if I’d inconvenienced them greatly and the coldness I felt didn’t seem appropriate for the severity of my mistake. Tucked away on a quiet side street off the main road, this spot offers a delightful selection of food and sweets. We ordered a long black and a house-made chocolate brownie. I’m usually cautious with black coffee, but this one was a pleasant surprise—smooth, well-balanced, and with just the right amount of kick to re-energise us. Joost, Kirsty and the team at Flour Water Salt are incredible! I have gotten catering for breakfast and lunch with Flour Water Salt for three years and they never fail to disappoint. The order is very easy to place, the delivery is always on time and the food is delicious. Everyone keeps talking about how good the pies are. They are so good.
