McDonald's — Restaurant in Kingaroy

Just left there 21.04.2018 at 12.08pm. Asked for a large Orange Juice half Sprite as I have done several times at various McDonald's. Male server said can't do it. So we asked for 1 small Orange Juice and 1 small Sprite put in a Large cup. Yes it's the same thing...go figure.

Watched the guy in front getting abusive and yelling at the next window, he then drove off at speed - not a happy customer!

We then got to that window and this rather arrogant young lady said couldn't do the drink. Got the 2 small to mix but they wouldn't Give OR Sell us a large cup. Her reasoning is that it's a franchise and the franchisee "she doesn't want us doing it as is effects the stock and stock take etc"

So she gave us a refund this wasting 2 cups with 2 straws and 2 drinks AND lost a sale!

Surely the money overrides wastage?! Our 1 cup with the 2 drinks in it actually would have saved their precious stock.

She also went on about the drink machine being automated and yet every other McDonald's could manage it. The machine has a manual mode so at the push of a button this could be done.

My daughters both worked at McDonalds 1 for 8 years so this bs and rudeness didn't gel with us at all. She kept walking away from the window and laughing loudly....rude much!

She then curtly wished us a happy day...sarcastic much!

BAD FORM MCDONALDS KINGAROY!

There are several other stores who put you and yours to shame!

SHAME ON YOU for tarnishing the great reputation of people and stores who provide real, great Customer Service. You might like to look up the meaning!

UPDATE - Owner says it's not the case. She knew exactly who I was talking about. She sounded nice and genuine and promised to fix it. However looking at all the other complaints it sounds like this treatment is the norm in Kingaroy. Lot of fixing to fix this...

If you want to get arrested innocently or harassed by druggo's and freaks ..... YEAH FEEL FREE COME ON DOWN TO KINGAROY MACKAS AFTER DARK. Otherwise it's a nice new upgrade to go along with our new cop shop and court house and our old skate park that's not in the main part of town (furtherest from our hospital) .... It's ok because kids don't have accidents at skate parks EVER! GOOD OLD SKATEPARKS FEATURES ARE SITUATED NEXT TO A MAIN RD ... TRUCKS ONLY WAY TO GET TO A TRUCKING COMPANY AND A WAY TO THE PEANUT FACTORY ..... NO KIDS IN KINGAROY COULD LIKE A SCOOTER , SKATEBOARD OR BIKE OR EVEN JUST WATCH IF THEY HAVE PEANUT ALLERGIES ... with no lighting or fencing for kids .... Sorry WHAT WAS I THINKING ... KIDS AT A SKATEPARK? ¿ why would kids go to a skate park. That would be silly. My bad ! Ohhh that's right there is little kids parks with 2story slides but no ... NO KIDS ALLOWED AT THE OLD SKATE PARK. NOTHING ELSE IN THIS PLACE . AWWWW NO WONDER THEY BUILT A BRAND NEW COP SHOP AND COURTHOUSE . KIDS THE TEENS BORED SO THEY GO TO MACKAS TO GET ARRESTED TO GO TO COP SHOP END UP IN COURTHOUSE AND ON DRUGS AND HER EVERY STONER NEEDS TO EAT AND BACK AROUND THE CIRCLE AGAIN ..... REVOLVING DOOR.

I don't live in Kingaroy, but go through on a regular basis. I don't usually eat McDonalds, but on one trip through I had a craving for McDonalds. I thought to myself this store was a cut above the rest. I have McDonalds any chance I can as I know it's good and not a mystery, as to what's REALLY in-between the rolls. That's why I choose chicken products only. Yesterday I got some food and asked for a double McChicken as 1 patty isn't quite enough. I couldn't stop to eat, so I waited till I could stop to eat (a few towns away from Kingaroy), I was annoyed to find I'd paid the price for a double chicken burger, only to get the single patty. All I have to say is I apologise in advance to other customers in drive through, but from now on, I'm not moving till I check my order. It's not as if I was served by a kid who is still learning or just makes mistakes for whatever reason. I was given my food by an older gent, that appeared to be comfortable in his position and knew what he was doing. I paid to a young person, who asked to clarify part of my order, as he couldn't make it over the speaker. Just take the time to be sure customers get what...
