Moonya Street Store — Restaurant in Kingaroy

To say Moonya street store is good is an understatement. Chips are good. Coffees are great. Good ice-cream selection. Staff are nice. Has a good atmosphere. If I had to chose a place to hang out, it would definitely be there. Moonya street store. What a great place. The stuff of dreams. Can't imagine a place I'd rather be. It's name is so original. It is in such a convenient location. The pride and joy of Kingaroy. It's what makes this humble village a town. Kingaroy without Moonya street store wouldn't even deserve to be called Kingaroy. It would have its kingship removed and simply be called roy. Not even a capital letter. That's how important this store is to our town. The day Moonya street store shuts down is the day I lose faith in humanity. It is the day life is no longer worth living. It is the day I wonder why this world even dares to exist. Moonya street store is more than a store. It is an institution. It is a consortium....

Ordered lunch from Moonya Street today. I’ve been here a few times before and it’s pretty decent food. I was just a little disappointed that I did not receive a number when I ordered. This seemed to cause a few issues as it turns out they had been calling my order for about five minutes. (Before I had realised) I went to the counter to check as the people who had ordered after me started to receive their orders. I asked the young girl and she went into the kitchen to check. There was an older lady in the back who just replied “we’ve called that number 3 times”. I expressed that I didn’t actually receive a number when I ordered but, neither of the ladies seemed to care at all and neither of them apologised for the confusion. All I can say is make sure you get a number when you order and don’t make the same mistake as me (even though it wasn’t my mistake to make). I most definitely won’t be rushing to go back...

Burgers are amazing, young staff as friendly and welcoming. Old man is amazing too I go in a lot but less now because EVERYTIME the old woman who is there is ALWAYS rude and aggressive and angry or yelling at customers….. Only time you will get good friendly service is when she is not there. Dear old lady, you are the face of your business yet anyone I talk to about your store says they stopped going because of you, please change your ways and I’ll start going more and recommend your store because only thing that’s good about this store is the food and young staff that you seem to go thru a lot. Maybe change how you treat customers and your staff (yes I’ve heard things from your old workers) and you will get...
