George’s Deli — Restaurant in Kingscliff

I’d seen everybody talk about how good George’s Deli was so I just had to pop by and have a go, and god it did not disappoint!

What we ordered; two Short Iced Matcha’s, one with Almond Milk and one with Soy ($7 each), a Mortadella Focaccia ($14), and a Smoked Ham Focaccia ($14) The Iced Matcha’s were perfect! Exactly what I had been craving these past few weeks! The matcha was well made and super refreshing, I’m definitely coming back for another! The Mortadella Focaccia was fantastic, oh my god it was so freaking good, so simple and straight forward yet the flavours were just blooming in my mouth! The Smoked Ham Focaccia was also insanely delicious! I’m absolutely in love with pickles and these ones were just bursting with that sweet flavour that I love! The smoked ham was fresh and such a perfect combination with the sweet pickles! And the pesto oh my god!!! Just wow 10/10 idc 🖐🏻😩

Customer service: the staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming, they were super fast on bringing us a water, and were so polite! And obviously they make a mean sandwich so big thumbs up to them!

Will we be returning? ABSOLUTELY YES! Today we thought we would just give them a go and see what we thought of the place and we were NOT disappointed! Perfectly situated at the heart of Kingscliff is this little Deli place that serves epic toasties and sandwiches. We tried their Ain’t Reuben, which is their take on the American Reuben. Generously layered pastrami slices that is beefy, meaty, and moist. All of their meats are house made which ensures the quality of the product. We also tried their mortadella sandwich on foccacia. Foccacia is crips on the outside and just the right chew on the inside, then a generous stack of mortadella which is made in-house as well. Then the pesto and fresh veggies blends it all together for the perfectly balanced brunch that you need for the day. Don’t forget to try their drinks, too. Their fizzy drinks are refreshing. I just wish they have a bigger portion of this, especially in this scorching summer. Definitely a 5 star gem. Kingscliffe...

Fabulous!! Generous servings of absolutely delicious food, we had the opportunity to go a few times and got the Basic B, a hot salami sandwich, a Basic B with Bacon and also a Nashville Jr burger. All meals were excellent and delicious and such friendly welcoming service. The Nashville Jr burger was so juicy and crunchy chicken and very flavoursome and it was big!! can't imagine how big the 'regular' size burger is. I also had a flat white which was top notch. The "yumm" sauce is a massive winner.

Has become an instant favourite and something we will look forward to. Everytime we are in Kingy, it's going to be our first stop for a meal. Thanks team, we will see you...
