Breakfast and the dinner are incredibly overpriced for the quality and also the decor for this place. Seasons is the only thing that lets Peppers down. Peppers resort is lovely and clean and tidy and modern. This restaurant is old and very tired inside. The decor is so dated, the floors need a polish the bathrooms are out of a western saloon. The booth seating has ripped and worn vinyl seats that are in desperate need of a reupholster. The dinner was not impressive for the cost of $70pp. I ordered the tempura prawns, it wasn’t tempura batter it was thick and like what you would get on basic fish and chips order. The crab croquet and polenta chips were out of a box and over cooked. My husband had the tuna as entree, was ok but wouldn’t get it again not as fresh as it should be. His steak was ordered as medium was rare to raw in the middle. Hardly anyone in the restaurant tonight being a Friday night with a busy hotel full of guests, it speaks for itself. Disappointed - we won’t be back here there are way too many other nice options...

Service can make or break a dining experience. Our welcome was marred with a speech about not being able to use advertised specials with certain menu choices. Table waitress was lovely. Menu unimaginative for a restaurant of this calibre. Better menu options available within walking distance. The real kicker though was some guy coming from out back at 9PM wanting to give us our bill, I imagine so they could close up. We were still clearly finishing our drinks. We have dined here at least 5 times before and had a great time. We returned based upon those experiences and wanting to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience for our wedding anniversary. Disappointed in the service recieved by the lady serving this morning. Rude to not only myself but the people after me. I don't have access to the heartist app as I don't have a card number and have been told by my property it takes a long time to get so I didn't have a number to put in the app. Which she was insistant i should have and bevause i dont its because of "poor management". Instead I tried to find a recent payslip however due to lack of reception I couldn't find one or my employment contract as nothing would load.
