💋We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Quattro, a charming little gem right on the beach at Lennox Head. I rang up later in the afternoon to see if they had availability for a table for eight that evening. The friendly voice on the other end, (apologies, I didn't catch your name,) was both courteous and accommodating, and she kindly confirmed our reservation. I also asked about the vegetarian options on the menu, and I appreciated her knowledgeable response. (It's always nice to know your options won't be limited to salads and hope.)
What really got us excited was that everything was made onsite, no frozen surprises here, adding a wonderful sense of authenticity and freshness. But the real star of the show? The arancini balls. They were absolutely divine, crispy on the outside, bursting with flavour inside. So good, in fact, that some of us couldn’t resist ordering more to take home. We might have been a little obsessed.
Our main server, Lana, was a standout, she displayed exceptional efficiency and attentiveness. She managed our orders with ease, asked all the right questions, and demonstrated impressive memory when we were wrapping up. When one of our group and I expressed interest in grabbing some extra arancini to take away, Lana had them prepared without us even needing to remind her. Now that’s service.
John also shined with his professionalism and efficiency. He offered spot on recommendations, kept a keen eye on our table after our food arrived, and even took the time to chat with us afterward. His excellent communication made the whole experience warm and welcoming, like dining with a good friend who happens to be a pro.
All in all, from the initial phone call to the moment we settled the bill, everything was truly exceptional. Thank you, Quattro, for having such a talented team, delicious food, and a manager who clearly knows how to run a top notch operation.
If you're after a seaside dining spot with stellar service and freshly made, mouthwatering food, Quattro is absolutely worth a visit. Just be prepared to leave with a full belly and maybe a few...

However I am local and have eaten here many times & always been very happy,
Today was different, and it’s because we were totally ignored by the staff, and told by the manager, no other customers ever complained about this food. The attitude towards us was not professional !
I was really looking forward to this meal with a friend from out of town especially as had not eaten lunch and was looking forward to the normal good yummy great food & excellent service. Today a lot of new faces, in fact our waitress’s second shift.
I had the Mushroom Risotto, which was pretty much like eating a soup & smothered in garlic. I fished out at least 30 large slices. Already eaten quite a few in the few mouthfuls I had. My mouth was burning & could not taste any flavour, actually unable to eat this dish as it made me feel queasy. My friend had the Charcoal Ravioli all of 4 pieces also covered in garlic although not as bad as mine but again her mouth too was burning.
Tried to get the attention of our waitress for at least 15minutes sitting with a full plate in front of me, being ignored. Until we asked another waitress to come to our table.
Who apologised but did not offer any further suggestion of a meal just would we like another drink,
Now 1 hour into our booking & I am hungry but afraid to order anything else, as my friends dish was similarly covered in too much garlic, decided to go just for a desert to fill the gap.
Then 20 min later we received our bill by yet another waiter and told the next booking had arrived and where asked to leave,
On paying the bill, there was a charge for a dish never ordered or had, my dish was not removed from the bill but was told we were not charged for the deserts. So basically not offered an alternative meal, charge more for the deserts, as paid for the main meal, which was greater than the deserts & I left the restaurant starving, At no stage was an apology offered from the manager, so this is what you call excellent customer service !!!!!! At a cost of $120 for a most disappointing experience !!!!

Read moreDown from Brisbane for a few seaside days in Lennox Head, 6 of us elected for some Italian at Quattro Classic Restaurant. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Lara, our waitress who was having her first night at Quattro. We were promptly seated and the restaurant was well-patronised and the open kitchen in full swing. Between the aromas wafting from the woodfire oven and the dishes on tables around us, our appetites hit top gear. Lara was patient as we slowly decided on our order that began with a Margherita Pizza as a starter. Great choice as it came straight from the oven smelling every bit as good as it looked and tasted even better. We then chose 3 pasta dishes and the Calabrian Lamb Ribs to share. Tick, tick & tick again. Linguini Puttanesca with anchovy, capers & black olive; Casarecce Agnello with braised lamb shoulder and finally Linguini con Pesce with prawn, scallop, cuttlefish in a saffron prawn & crab bisque. Bloody delicious each and every dish! The atmosphere was great, the food excellent and the service between Lara and the hard working team in the open kitchen was fantastic. I made a point of telling them alwhat a great job they’d done - something I like to do when I have a really memorable dining experience. Well done Quattro as we’ll be back! My only disappointment was I failed to take photos which is rare for me but it was the food that distracted our entire table from...
