Was fine. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible. Good venue for groups who can’t make up their mind on what type of food to have, there’s a bit on offer for everyone. We had the Southern Chicken Burger, which was more South Korean than “southern”, but that was obvious from the description, so no issue there. Chicken coating was a bit tough, but overall a flavoursome burger. Chips were not great. Needed more salt and more crisp. We also had the fish tacos. They were great.
Service was a bit lacking. No direction was given on how to get cutlery, serviettes or water. We ordered at the bar, but our table didn’t have a number, so we couldn’t give a table number. They said they’d find us, then when they came out with the food and we told them it was ours, they thought it wasn’t and proceeded to try to bring it to other tables before coming back to us.

Read moreI attended the new Byron Bay restaurant last night with my partner. There were only three tables occupied. We told them we did not have a reservation. The staff member seemed hesitant to welcome us. We were offered a small table in the walkway. I asked if we could sit on the outside or out on balcony. We were told the other tables were “ALL BOOKED”, however there were no reserved signs on the tables. The men in the kitchen swarmed to the front to perve on me which was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable as though I was being watched. We ordered. About 45 minutes later our meals FINALLY arrived. Ceviche was overpowering. The seafood chowder tasted like potato soup with only one small overcooked prawn and tiny chewy piece of squid. The soup seemed microwaved. The meals took an incredibly long time given the few patrons. The meals mediocre and over priced. Thai restaurant will not last and I...
