Eat Sushi Underwood — Restaurant in Logan City

Absolutely terrible service , When we arrived it felt like the staff did not even want us eatting there , We then sat down and ordered only to have my husband order cancelled and none of the staff told us it was only until we had been waiting for about 25 mins with a screaming baby that we were told our beef order was cancelled and there was no apologies from staff or anything we just ended up leaving 😕 when we asked why our order was cancelled , the lady responded with oh we only serve beef to the all you can eat customers, However 3 other tables got serves the beef and was also eatting sushi so I don't exactly know what was going on but me and my husband felt very discriminated against considering it looked like the other customers and the staff were all very friendly but we did not even receive a smile...

I ordered chicken karaage and I dont like to have mayonnaise with it so I asked for salt and pepper. I asked wait staff and she walked into kitchen and few minutes later she told me she can't not offer me that. ?????????? A lot of question mark in my head. And then it was me gave her a little sauce plate and asked her: can I please have a little bit on this plate? Then she walked into kitchen again and she got it. Then I ordered can of soft drink. No glass nor straw are offered. I had to ask again. I felt I was more like the wait staff that day. I knew she probably new and the chef probably gave her hard time that day. Everything tasted very sweet. I mean everything, like someone ordered too much sugar and they're trying to get rid of it. Tuna rolls were like lollies. The food looks and tastes like whoever is making it is doing it how they like it with little consideration of the customer's taste. I've never seen so much sauce squeezed over sushi before. Unagi was drowning in sauce and couldn't even taste the eel itself. Tempura and panko crumbs made soggy by the amount of mayo on it. Worse, the rice was ice cold which was not nice at all. I have never had sushi at any other temp than room temp or there abouts before. It was very strange.

Maybe this is just how Koreans do sushi but it's not for me.
