If you’re looking for an authentic Korean restaurant, Mama Korean Cuisine in Underwood is one of the best choices. Their dishes are packed with rich, traditional flavors, and the quality of their food is outstanding. The cold noodles are a refreshing and satisfying dish, perfect for warm days. The noodles have a delightful chewiness, served in an icy, flavorful broth with crisp vegetables. A thoughtful touch is the vinegar and mustard sauce provided on the side, allowing you to adjust the tanginess and spice to your preference, enhancing the overall taste. The ox tail soup is a comforting, deeply flavorful dish with a rich broth that has been simmered for hours to extract the full essence of the oxtail. The meat is incredibly tender, falling off the bone effortlessly. It’s a perfect choice for those who love hearty, nourishing soups. The beef bulgogi is another highlight—thinly sliced beef marinated in a savory-sweet sauce, grilled to perfection. The meat is juicy, tender, and packed with rich, caramelized flavors, making each bite irresistible. Beyond the main dishes, the side dishes at Mama Korean Cuisine are exceptional. Their kimchi and kimchi radish are incredibly flavorful—fermented to perfection with just the right balance of spice and tang. These side dishes elevate the meal, adding a burst of flavor to every bite. With its delicious food, warm ambiance, and attentive service, Mama Korean Cuisine is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean flavors. Highly recommended!

Visiting Brisbane for the day (and away from my local Korean food outlet back home), I was actually planning to visit the competition next door but as they were closed, ended up here. Food - pork intestine soup with sundae (Korean blood sausage). The portion size was very reasonable for the price and arrived in a dolsot, served with rice and a couple of banchan of radish and cabbage kimchi. A side saucer of salted shrimp and chilli paste was also supplied to adjust the flavour of the broth (I required all of it). My constructive criticism is that the broth was without identity - lacking in umami and seasoning - I wish I brought a pouch of 미원 along. Everything else was as expected. Service - as expected. Not warm and friendly like my local outlet, but certainly not rude. Perfunctory would be a good adjective here. Wait time was minimal and service appeared to be geared towards rushes of patrons - I liked the concept of the trolley to bus dishes. Atmosphere - started to fill up as I was finishing, with the ambient noise level increasing. Not a problem in the slightest, but you'd want to avoid the lunch rush if you're not a people person. Convenient location with plenty of parking.

Dined here a few times, never leave any review. Came here again tonight for dinner with hubby and son. At first was seated outside, it was so cold , we went in to ask for seats inside. The young lady said no table available inside so we went outside again. But after 10 minutes later, the same lady came out to inform there is a table available for us. So we went back in, appreciate her effort. I ordered Cheese Rabokki, half & half boneless chicken and a seafood pancake. The fried chicken was served first followed by the pancake. Pancake was burnt on one side but we accepted it anyway. The cheese Rabokki was creamy and delicious, we loved it. Overall today's dinner were good , hope they pay more attention to the pancake as the burnt part were bitter.

I was a regular customer but the counter male staff is so rude and has the worst customer service.

He used to be not kind or polite but we didn't care that much but the way he treats customer is very wrong and makes me mad.

I told him I was a bit upset when you treated me rude.

He said to me "Are you going on a power trip on me?" and "Are you from 1980's?" How come he is playing with me like that and didn't think about how he behaved. So rude and very upset with his manners. He even didn't say single word of sorry. How well educated.

MaMa restaurant, If you want to do your business well, please train your staff well. This is my right to get proper service from your restaurant as I paid your service for it. I am not paying for getting ignored with bad manners.

Ignoring customers and being rude is not a way.

I will never go to this restaurant again and not recommend at all to anyone. So angry and...
