You have come to the reviews because you are hesitant? DO NOT BUY HERE! Save your money and your time. These people will rip you off. Not to mention are literally money hungry and dont care about what they are serving you.
My family and i have always given them the benefit of doubt and on each visit, experienced the poorest quality of food and now ive had enough.
Do not buy the so called “fresh” seafood. Because it is far from fresh. Unless you want to be physically ill for a whole week. 🤮
When asking for a boil up pack, make sure you check to see what they have actually put in your bag. Specifically asked for pork bones + watercress. They charged me $25, fair enough. I get to my vehicle and closely inspect the “watercress”. Upon determining that indeed this was NOT watercress i enter the shop and spoke to the very lady who served me and asked her “what is this that you put in my bag, its not watercress” to which she responded “oh yeah its a type of leaf like spinach leaf”. I immediately asked for a refund of that. Luckily for them i paid for the pork bones and still left with that. I could have easily refunded the full pack. Seriously that is fraudulent behaviour. If you do not have watercress just say that. Instead of replacing it with some sort of leafy mix. Which to my surprise cost $15.. RIP OFF
The lack of acknowlegement on what you are serving is infuriating. You claim to be serving not only locals but your wider community in particularly New Zealanders is unfathomable.

Read moreOrder number 84 placed tonight 26/5/23 Placed the order by the lady in the all black with the white hat I believe she was perfect with customer service but didn’t know how to change the eftpos roll I had to show her how to . The young fella in the all black had perfect customer service too . But the older lady in the all black with blue writing across the shirt her customer service was disgusting and she was swearing to her fellow work colleagues in-front of customers . Even when told by customers that it was not appropriate. She was being very blunt and bossy when directing staff to complete task I didn’t hear not one say please or thank you in the 30 min I was in the shop .I placed my order at 5:58pm and didn’t get my meal to leave until 6:30pm . This is after they messed up my meal and had to go back to the shop to collect part of my meal that was missing .Cabana was stone cold and under cooked ,chips old and soggy . No lemon with the fish after being asked if I wanted it and I said yes .fish was very average not bad but not outstanding .
I’m a very big believer in that you vote with how you spend money and for a $30 meal it was very poor and I will not be back and I hope that management sees this and chooses to make a change as those poor staff...
Read moreStaff does not care at all about customer service or final product delivered. My husband waited 55 minutes for a takeaway order # 25. When he finally returned home with order 25 written on it, we had 2 pieces of fish which should have been a fisherman's basket. He called and girl who answered phone said order # 25 was still sitting in the warming tray and he had not picked it up. Long story short, I had to drive back to your shop and they were re cooking order. I asked for a full refund and $10.00 for our fuel costs of driving 30 minutes round trip to collect correct order. Girl consulted someone and said that if I wanted a full refund then I could not take the food. I said fine, then at least reimburse me $10.00 for fuel. Her response was that it was "illegal". I asked for the owner and she said owner was not there. As I left she sarcastically said to me "have a nice day". Not once was there even an apology. We were treated like a total annoyance and not paying customers that pay their wages. Staff and obviously management does not care about customer service. My husband will NEVER return to your store. It was our second try to support local business and both times awful. So we will continue to travel to Park Ridge for our fish and chips even though...
