The Coffee Club — Restaurant in Logan City

Table 7 on Friday 30/6/23 we had our order taken around 9:20 and didn’t get our food until just after 10:30. Basic order, one big breakfast and one eggs on toast. Pretty disheartening as we had just travelled from interstate and arrived at midnight and were starving as it is. Seeing other customers get seated, their order taken and having their food done even though they arrived a lot later than we did, was disappointing. Waitress didn’t give us our drinks until I asked around 10am. I gave her benefit of the doubt as I know it gets busy but I’m pretty sure our order was missed but kept getting told the food is on its way. Never had to wait over an hour for food, especially breakfast … pretty poor start to our QLD trip. I wouldn’t be writing this if the waitress had been honest and tell us that she didn’t put our order through - because then we would’ve just gone somewhere else for breakfast at that time. I understand it gets busy and waitresses have a billion and one things to do, but they should take notice when one table who’s been sat there for over 20 mins with their order taken but nothing on the table i.e drinks/tea … would be a sign to ask if we’re waiting on anything or checkout their table numbers food and how far...

Absolutely the best place to have a relaxing breakfast, lunch or dinner. Check the hours of operation, though, because this is a great time, not a loud time. Perfect for families and friends alike, with a great range of food favourites, including options for diners on gluten free, dairy free and vegan diets. Everything from tasty salads to decadent desserts and iced drinks. A full range of coffees and teas available, and I think it is licensed, but check first. If not, there are delicious iced drinks with alcoholic flavours if you like that sort of treat.

Prices are standard coffee shop prices, but the service is very good.

The only "problem" is that the Coffee Club might need to hire more staff, because it is soooooo popular!!

This is often the only Coffee Club open in the area during public holidays, and it is therefore a premium social spot at any time, and especially when everything else is closed.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are very helpful and polite, despite the fact that I don't know how they keep up with the workload.

They serve meals and drinks in house, do online orders and do standard range take away hot drinks...

Personally, I have never been so disappointed in coffee club. You have 3 staff working the floor on a Sunday morning and we’ve waited over 60 minutes for some eggs and bacon and in that time, you completed not 1 but 16 Uber eats orders and gave absolute zero cares about ALL of the inside people’s orders. You either hire more floor staff to get people’s coffees to their tables given at one point the coffee lady had no room on her bench it was full of THAT many coffees waiting to be taken to the tables and prioritise your inside customers and turn down the Uber acceptances or focus strictly on Uber because you have Successfully failed at trying to manage both. Actually disgusting. Do better because this was just flat out unacceptable.

P.s your male worker with the long hair is the ONLY positive to today because he tried to work with customers, and I could see that man legit RUNNING to get people their orders when they FINALLY...
