If I can give this place 0 stars i would.
We came on the 5th of September at 2.30pm we arrived at the drive thru and ordered 2 acai bowls and 2x large chai lattes one was a dirty chai.
Firstly the Indian guy that was new came and said he doesnât know how to make a dirty chai so we had to tell him. Then they had no more chai syrup for either so we had to wait to get a refund we sat there for a total of 30 minutes while waiting for just our drinks for them to come out and tell us that. Then he turned around and gave attitude when we said we sat here for 30 minutes waiting for them to tell us that the Indian guy said why come here then. They were very rude there was no manager they said they donât have one here after asking why are we asking them these questions talk to the manager but there isnât one ? They also never have anything they always run out of crap the service use to be great but now itâs gone down hill. So after 30 minutes he said he didnât know how to make a dirty chai and asked if we wanted a refund. I had to ask multiple times for a receipt which they finally gave only to find out they tried to rip me off and only gave me 13.90 change when we were meant to get 16 dollars for both drinks so I had to go back thru the drive thru again lucky I checked the receipt no compensation rude attitude from the Indian guy. The girl was very lovely and sweet and apologetic and considering the Indian guy is new thatâs how he talks to ppl what a great representation for the company. Who the hell hires someone to be on the barista machine who doesnât know how to make barista drinks never coming back again this place and the service now sucks no wonder itâs so quiet wait times are appalling and it ainât even busy we were the only car in drive thru itâs always like that they always have no stock and the strawberry and Dubai cups have gotten so much smaller they use to be bigger now they have halved in size this place is a rip off donât recommend going no wonder itâs always...
Read moreToday I visited Berry Boo Açaà and witnessed a situation that really highlighted how unfairly some staff can be treated. As I walked in, one of the workers handed a customer their crepes. The customer immediately asked where the whipped cream or ice cream was. The two young girls working politely apologised and explained that they had unfortunately run out but had forgotten to inform them beforehand. Both staff members remained calm, courteous, and offered a refund straight away to make up for the inconvenience.
However, instead of accepting the apology or refund respectfully, the group of three customers began loudly criticising the girls. They complained that the crepes were horrible and started making personal remarks, including saying the staff "need to read a hospitality contract." One of them even mentioned she had worked in hospitality before â which made the way they spoke to these young staff members even more disappointing.
For someone who claims to understand the industry, their behaviour was unnecessarily rude and condescending. Mistakes happen, especially in small businesses run by young staff, and these girls were doing their best to handle the situation professionally. They didnât deserve to be mocked or disrespected like that. A bit of kindness and patience goes a long way â especially when people are clearly trying to make...
Read moreService is awful here. So many young staff (not the issue) who obviously havenât been trained well in service. Walked in the other day and the staff working (one at the time) was in the back on his phone and just scrolling (I could see from reflection). I waited for 5 minutes, knocked on the counter to get his attention, to no avail, then exclaimed âhelloâ, once again no response. Finally a third time I almost yelled âexcuse meâ finally I had gotten a response. I ordered a baby bowl ($9.50!!!!) Insane price. The toppings were then $2 each! I cannot lie, it felt like daylight robbery. I was then informed they had no granola? Yet there was toppings that looked very similar to granola, yet there was no other âtoppingâ listed on the menu display similar to granola.
If you want a good acai experience, especially for your first time, do NOT come here. Specifically the Browns Plains location. It was genuinely awful, iâve had better quality of product at a better price and with better service at other establishments. This also hasnât been my first experience here with young staff just disappearing to the back of the store to go on their phones.
I rarely leave reviews unless iâve been extremely inclined to do so, so please take...
