Muffin Break Browns Plains — Restaurant in Logan City

Unfortunately I have been having some not so nice experiences lately, poor customer service being the main one. Yesterday my order had some unwanted added flavour with a BUG wedged into my spinach and feta tartlet. Initially there was no apology, it felt as though this was not the first occurrence and all she did was offer a new tartlet. All the staff disappeared out the back and returned to then also offer a free muffin. We sat down not far from the store but I was turned off the food and not interested in eating it so we got up to leave pretty much straight away. The girl saw us leaving and came over to us with a cash refund, advising that her supervisor told her to refund us for the tartlet. It wasn’t until we accepted this and walked away that she finally said she was sorry for the inconvenience. We tried to be polite as it’s probably no individuals ‘fault’ and they were all very young and maybe not so experienced but safe to say, I will no longer be ordering from here and felt this was an important experience to share...

Got an iced latte on lactose free milk with less van syrup. the asian lady decided to put THREE pumps of syrup, when she gave it to me I asked if there was less syrup in it and she said yes. I mixed it and took a sip but it deadass tasted like I was drinking sugar so I told her. they made me a new one but with hesitation... when I got my second iced latte, old mate didnt use lactose free milk. took a sip and it tasted like straight up milk, might as well go to woolies and buy a milk bottle to drink. Absolutely love coming here for my regular coffee stop, all the staff know how to make you feel welcome and put a smile to your face regardless how bad your day have been. Especially Chantelle, she has gone above and beyond customer expectations to make you feel welcomed, this is something I value deeply. As someone who is English, I like my coffee extra hot and with no froth for a flat white, Absolutely made to perfection, always the right consistency of froth for a flat white, I will definitely be coming back here for more.
