Bring back Jersey Mike's Subs. The only reason that Subway is still standing is because it has no genuine competition. Subway is becoming worse and worse. Today I literally just walked away at the end and refused to pay for my sub or take it with me - it was a sloppy mess. If I wouldn't eat something like that at home, I'm certainly not going to pay for it, take it home and throw it in the bin as I have many times before. I just don't like any other "fast food" places so Subway is generally my only option for a healthy, big sandwich.
Today the person who served me was clearly very young and very new. I have no issues with this young person, my issue is with subway management who let him serve customers without even knowing what actually goes in the sub. I had to tell him what goes in the BMT and still I only got 4 slices of pepperoni (mild) and 4 slices of pepperoni (hot) in my footlong. I still kept moving forward, trying to be understanding but my breaking point came when all the salads were unevenly chucked into the very middle of the sandwich and then he struggled to close it, with sauce and veges exploding out of it - because everything was piled up into the middle as if it was a wrap! Ugh. Just looked disgusting and I told him that but he kept insisting it would be fine once wrapped.... I don't think so. They should train their staff, not let them serve customers alone and also - maybe offer to make me a new sub after I tell you I can't eat the mess you've made first time around.
Far out I hate subway so much in this area but there's nowhere else to go and unfortunately I eat subway multiple...
Read moreThe lady there took my $20 and pretended that I paid only $15. And she wrapped some of the meat between the paper, not between the bread. The price board was blank and I put a $10 bill, two $5 bills on the counter, in a stack. I called the shop phone number and explained what happened, they said they would look into the camera footage. Hours later, I received a call from a man and he said he thinks I was being unreasonable, and said I could go to the shop and see the footage myself. When I went to the shop, he tossed $5 to me and acted like he was giving his own money to me. I explained to him how I checked 4 times before paying with that $20, and he says he trusts what the lady said because 'she has been working there for a long time'. In the end, I left the $5 to him and left. It's too much trouble to argue with this kind of people and I prefer to never having to deal with them again. I'm telling people what happened to me so if the the kind of thing happens to others again, they know they are not the only victims. Good luck and...
Read moreThe staff there is not properly trained. The Indian lady didn’t even know use 2 paper. Instead she finishes off making the sub, cuts it in half as I ordered foot long and the lifts them onto the final wrap packaging - so I only had one barrier of wrapper - that’s for both our subways. Also thin too - not like other subways that pack more on. I asked the young person doing the payment that I give my phone number so it can go to my subway rewards and she looks at me as if she didn’t know and just says I already did the transaction sorry. This can be still be done - you just need to edit it into the screen like other trained staff at other subways do. Also they said coffee machine was broken down and so my friend asked how long it was broken for and they replied they didn’t didn’t know. It’s manual coffee machine so maybe they didn’t have training - but don’t say it’s broken if isn’t. You get paid , get training done so your job is proper and 100% customer satisfaction.
