This is a family business and truly something special. They’ve got plenty of experience behind them having run many previous restaurants over several decades in Melbourne. Located in a busy strip of shops less than a ten minute drive from Chadstone (aka where I was shopping prior) they are opened Tuesday to Sunday, naturally not Monday as the fish market is closed so they can’t get fresh fish. Different to a standard f&c shop doing takeaway only, there is a very nice area to dine in with beautiful artwork created specifically to reflect the owner Greek heritage as well as seating outside. I had the grilled calamari tacos, absolute perfection and so different and unexpected. If you do want your classic battered fish and potato cakes rest assured they have that too and lucky for you their potato cakes are all made in house not to mention so are all their sauces! I loved the potato cakes and hubby had grilled barra with roast veggie salad (salads also all made in house) which he loved. We also enjoyed the salt and pepper calamari for entree and reflected on how much tastier it was than what we were used to. Our only wish was that we lived closer so it could become a weekly local

Very good service. I tried the calamari rings and a grilled blue grenadier. The blue grenadier was very bland with no taste. Very nicely fried and crispy with lots of fresh salad mixed with veggies and they serve with coleslaw and a mayo sauce. I personally do not like coleslaw and the mayo sauce. My personal suggestion would be the veggies in the salad if served hot instead of cold would be a 10/10.we also tried the veggie burger which was also very good but they ran out of veggie burger the very next day we went with our kids again but they were very nice and offered to make a fried egg along with a potato patty in the burger if my husband can have egg .Will visit again for sure to have the calamari rings.

Great fish and best chips in town. Had an Akubra Burger, check out the pic. Wow. Second photo dec2023 Same perfect burger ! Third photo, empty plate, shows how these wonderful burgers are not dripping in grease.... I'll assume that's much healthier ! Ohhh, and their daily made coleslaw I buy for my bbqs as it is the best. Latest pic - another PERFECT Akubra Burger!!! Another perfect Akubra Burger photo! Today I weakened and scared the perfect chips as well as the magnificent Akubra Burger (photo). Another perfect burger, oct24, and nov24. Cheeseburger is jan&feb25. Scrumptious.

This is a family business celebrating their third year in business next month. They prepare and fillet all of their seafood in house, and all the salads are prepared daily. This is a traditional fish n chip shop w a contemporary twist, serving tacos and double burgers. This place has a community feel, with some great service to tge customers.

All looks is filleted in house and the fish is fresh, and the salads made everyday.

The calamari is hand cut and if the staff won't eat something, they don't serve it. Simple. And we could tell, as tbe attention to detail in their food was outstanding. The portions were generous, and bloody tasty!

We ordered some snapper w Greek salad and chips. Then we ordered some John Dory a vegetable salad w some potato cakes, a dim sim, some home made fish cakes, a scallop.

The fish was excellent quality, my snapper fillets were fresh and perfectly grilled. The John Dory was light, soft and buttery, it was superb. The vegetable salad had crispy vegetables, and good flavour.

The greek salad was fresh, w crispy lettuce and well seasoned.

The fish cakes were the best I've ever eaten, made using 7 different kinds of seasonal fish and herbs. My gosh these were delicious.

And the scallop was really BIG and crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. Wow!

The potato cakes were hand made and not greasy, the batter was good and this was a fish n chips cafe like I can't remember. This was amazing, and when we left the place was packed w punters which was no surprise.

This place is a must visit and parking is...

Found a hidden gem restaurant 💎, one of the best fish and chips I've ever had. All the dishes are perfectly cooked. Honestly speaking, I'm not a fan of fish and chips at all, but the fish and chips here make me come back again. Very friendly service, Even though it’s an open kitchen, I don't smell oil. The calamari we ordered was very tender. Don’t forget the fish cake, The fish cake we tried has a unique texture. One of the extraordinary ones here is there’s no fishy smell in the food served here. Fried fish with bread crumbs is a menu that you should try. Recommended 👍. The bread crumbs really good. But the tar tar sauce standart taste. Still a five star food for fish and chips 👍🤩

The food we ordered : fish of the day ( bread crumbs ) dori / fried taco calamari calamari ring coleslaw greek salad fish cake Large chips

Thank you for all the dishes. So good...
