Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of enjoying a gourmet meal delivered right to my doorstep. The highlight of my order was the Reuben Bagel, which I had customized with an extra dash of spice. A disappointing experience. Walked in and was welcomed and told to check out the menu. I did so and then ordered two take away bagels. I was then told their grill was broken and they were waiting for repairs and there was only a few bagels to choose from. I chose from the limited list and wasn’t overly excited. I waited for my take away order to be made and received with one in a take away bag and another on a plate. They were shocked when I told them I ordered both as take away. They then wrapped it up and added it to the bag for me to take home. I really wish there was more of an apology made for mucking me around. I walked out disappointed. I ended up with the lox bagel and the roast beef one. Lox was nice but the roast beef one was not very nice. Seemed unfresh and dry and the beef didn’t taste very nice. I was so keen to try out this place, a series of unfortunate events and average service will ensure I won’t be back again....

Phenomenal local spot! The owner (I wish I knew your name!) clearly pours so much love and care into every coffee and bagel. The little details make the difference, like freshly cooking the bacon to order, carefully plucking herb leaves from their stems, and paying attention to quality in every step. These small touches add up to consistently delicious food and coffee and justifies the money spent.

I noticed some of the more critical reviews seem to come from takeaway orders. Having had takeaway myself, I’d say it is like most breakfast items and best enjoyed fresh. If you can, definitely eat in to get the full experience.
