We went to Ajanta for my wife’s birthday in September 2024. It turned out to be very disappointing for our family when a stapler pin turned out in my mouth from one of the curries. I felt the pin in my mouth thinking it is one of those bigger spices like cardimum or something, luckily I pulled it out and we were shocked to see this. I can’t even imagine what it could have done to me if I had ingested it. We were offered to remake all the food again which we again waited and sat there hungry. that they stated they remade the curry we ate while being scared. We could not eat after that .Just simply ruined the birthday for us a day which should have been memorable. And that is not even the worst part. At the end they charged us the full amount for the food with out an ounce of shame. Never going again. Posting so people be careful before going to this place. Will also post this in Melbourne Indian community so that these people know how worse it could have been turned out for us. If I had ingested and gotten ill with that thing I am 100% Ajanta’s owner would have never taken that responsibility or wouldn’t even have answered our phone calls. Calls out for a serious health concern and the type of practices their chefs work with inside the kitchen. Absolutely outrageous and disgusting behaviour with the courage to charge someone full amount after they had such a scary and ridiculous...
Read moreOrder food and a drink from this restaurant through Uber, the first delivery got delivered to my neighbour who decided they were going to keep the food and deny it got delivered despite a photo of half the food at their front door taken minutes earlier, no drink was delivered with the stolen batch of food.

Catch the Uber driver who says the restaurant didn't give him a drink, get invited to look in his car and no drink anywhere.
Call this restaurant to be told that they sent the drink with both drivers and both drivers must have stolen the drink.
Thieves sit amongst the lowest tier in this fractured society, I wouldn't spend a single dollar in this restaurant again when there are small businesses struggling in the current climate that actually appreciate...

Without a shadow of a doubt, my recent dine in experience at Ajanta Indian Restaurant Cranbourne , was by far and away the most deliciously satisfying, mind expanding, euphoric Indian cuisine I've ever had the pleasure of placing in my mouth. Each and every dish, from start to finish, included in the "Set Menu 1 and 2" selections, were so overwhelmingly tasty, that my mouth is currently haemorrhaging saliva whilst writing this recollection of my voluntary taste bud take over... Ohhhh good gracious, I regret that I must take leave post haste, Ajanta beckons once more. Thank you kindly Ajanta and family, I very much look forward to seeing you again soon. P. S.: "You're simply the best, better than all the...
