Ajisen Ramen Knox — Restaurant in Melbourne

THANK YOU so much to absolutely everyone working at Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen - including the matre d', manager, wait staff and kitchen staff - for both the flawlessly friendly service AND the perfect food and drink that my friend Kate and I enjoyed hours ago today on 13/07/2025 that I will be describing in detail in this 5-star review, we are both deeply grateful to each and every single one of them for all of it! THANK YOU so much to Kate for so generously paying for all our food and drink - photos of which I have uploaded with this 5-star review - I am deeply grateful to her as well!

So sorry to everyone working at Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen, I had been meaning to type up and upload this 5-star review much earlier on behalf of Kate and myself bur I assure them all, Kate and I are 100% appreciative to them for everything! I am also so sorry to all of them I had do delete my previous 5-star review to type up this new one but I have screenshotted said review and uploaded screenshots of it in this new one.

Our truly amazing matre d' - which was wearing glasses for reference - was perfectly nice, warm, friendly and welcoming to Kate and I, immediately offering us a choice of any seats left in Ajisen Ramen. The atmosphere, particularly inside, was beautifully done, and warm, cosy and inviting with aesthetically pleasing angular wooden dining benches and tables.

All of our food and drink was made so quickly by the extremely talented kitchen staff, and all served to us immediately in a warm and friendly manner by both the truly exceptional manager - who was wearing glasses for reference - and truly exceptional wait staff. So incredible was the service that when I accidentally knocked one of my metal chopsticks on the floor and picked it up, the manager immediately replaced it with a clean new one, I thanked him profusely and apologised for what happened, he was so nice about it.

Kate had her usual favourite at Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen, the Grilled Salmon Bento, it was absolutely delicious and elegant, it is THE Bento to have when visiting it. Because Kate and I had finished watching the live action Lilo & Stitch movie at Knox O-Zone Village Cinemas before going to Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen, I ordered Ajisen Ramen's Volcano Ramen (as volcanoes are what Hawaiian is famous for and where Lilo & Stitch is set) and a Blue Heaven Milkshake (because Stitch is blue) and I placed Kate's Stitch plushie behind my Volcano Ramen and Blue Heaven Milkshake because it was truly fitting.

The Volcano Ramen was absolutely INCREDIBLE, an absolute MUST try especially for anyone who is a fan of Ramen and spicy noodle dishes such as Malaysian Laksa. And my Blue Heaven Milkshake was truly heavenly!

The maitre d', manager, wait staff and kitchen staff of Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen deserve every reward and acknowledgement from Ajisen Ramen for going above and beyond to provide Kate and I with the absolute BEST food (especially the absolute BEST Ramen namely my Volcano Ramen), drink, service and atmosphere. Make Knox O-Zone your #1 choice of Japanese restaurant to dine I'm or at the very least takeawayor deliver but we very highly recommend dine in. The Ramen in particular especially the Volcano Ramen is a Ramen lover's dream! THANK YOU so much again to Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen's maitre d', manager, wait staff and kitchen staff from Kate and I for absolutely EVERYTHING earlier today, will always remember and cherish it, you all...

My friend Kate and I were 100% happy with everything during our latest visit to Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen. So sorry to the manager, wait staff and chefs to only post now, been meaning to a lot sooner.

Earlier today on 26/01/2025 - to the best of my recollection - sometime between 6pm and 6:15pm we ordered our food and drink, and it all arrived within 5 to 10 minutes, extremely fast service that was extremely friendly as well. All that being said, both Kate and I would like to say thank you so much to the manager, wait staff and chefs for both the absolute amazing fast and friendly service and absolutely amazing food and drink. We both appreciate it a lot and are so grateful to them all for making this the absolute BEST ever experience at not only Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen but the absolute BEST experience out of all the times we went to any Japanese restaurant.

Many thanks to Kate too for so generously paying for both herself and I, I am so grateful to her as well! I have already uploaded the photos of our food and drink. I had the Ajisen Ramen - same name as the restaurant itself - and Matcha Spider whilst Kate had the Grilled Salmon Bento Box.

The Ajisen Ramen was perfect! 100% I recommend you order it! Kate noted it even very closely resembled the ramen that Naruto himself had in the Naruto anime series that she is an avid fan of! The Matcha Spider was a scoop of absolute lovely Matcha green tea flavoured ice cream placed in fizzy lemonade, perfectly delicious and refreshing! And Kate's Grilled Salmon Bento Box is THE bento everyone must try, it has a variety of scrumptious side dishes complimenting the perfectly cooked grilled salmon.

And also the manager of Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen in addition to being so nice, welcoming and friendly - like the wait staff - also so thoughtfully brought Kate a fork and knife to eat her Grilled Salmon Bento Box.

For going above and beyond in terms of all the aforementioned service, food and drink, the manager, wait staff and chefs of Knox O-Zone Ajisen Ramen deserve every acknowledgement and reward Ajisen can offer them. Both Kate and I are truly grateful and honoured towards each and every single one of them for all they did for us! We both look very much forward to visiting again soon! Thank you so much...

Came here for dinner a few nights ago. We loved the store at Ringwood before it shut, so we've come here a few times. Food was good except they have since introduced the QR code ordering system since the last we came. It was fine to order this way, but they had forgotten a main & then tried to tell is it was given so we had to go through everyone's phone to show, by the time the missing dish arrived for my family member we had all finished.

When it came to paying, it was frustrating and disappointing to see 'no split bills'.. This is manageable if we were given any indication prior (for example on the site we used to order), the main issue was we ordered separately and with our own phones but their system lumped it all together as the whole table so we couldn't split...even though multiple phones and phone numbers were inputted to order separately. That's what was really frustrating and the worker didn't really listen to us that I was only paying for what I ordered on my phone... I've never had another restaurant add all the orders to one table and force to pay together. So yeah, food was fine but service isn't as great as the Ringwood store was... I might try another location, I don't think I want to return...
